Looks like the state of Michigan overall is going to have a good group of kids with 9 making the 2016 ESPN 300.
It's still early, so some of those kids are bound to drop out. For example, Desmond Fitzpatrick and Jalen Martin are down near the bottom of the list. Still, though, it should be a decent class within the state.
Have we offered Brenden Ferns yet?
Although my guess, based on no evidence whatsoever, is that one is forthcoming
Nope.
Here are all the guys Michigan has offered on the list:

How long will that Akron commit stay committed there? My guess is halfway through his junior year.
I was almost more taken aback by the early commitment from one kid to East Carolina. That's another thing that you generally don't see everyday, or at least you don't see it on many national lists like this. I am not knocking the decision, of course, as these kids are simply following their dreams and going where they wish to go, but I just can't recall seeing too many commitments to mid-major schools made this early. It might happen more than I realize, of course, so I can't say too much, I imagine.
Eh, top 300 kids have gone to non BCS schools in the past. I believe Iowa State took a top 10 WR last year when everyone thought he'd flip to a top tier school.
"Iowa State"
Iowa State is a BCS school.
That's a big get for them. They better hope none of the big boys come and Zip him away.
Sooner or later, Oklahoma may come a callin'
I would've gone with "An UCLA offer may be Bruin as well", but I'm just a guy with my underwear outside my shorts.
There are over 30 kids from the state of Georgia...must be nice for Georgia
Overrated!
I think only 29 Georgians deserve to be on the list. Sucks to be Georgia!
I'd take 9-3 at this point.
GA. like Tressel did Oiho, he would have at least one BCS championship. Suprisingly,to me, a lot of top notch talent leaves the state.
Georgia also pulls in top-notch talent from the surrounding states, namely Florida. There were 30 Rivals 5-stars/4-stars from Georgia in the class of 2014, so they can't keep all of them. They whiffed on many of them, but they also pulled in a 5-star from Florida (Sony Michel), three 4-stars from Florida, one from Kansas, one from South Carolina, and one from North Carolina.
Is kicking Brazil's ass bad
What's the score?
Never trust the early hype. Michigan fans (and fans in general) need to stop making this same mistake over and over again.
