How many of our commits do you think will make the 150 ??

I'm going with  10

Who will be the highest ranked commit ?

Shane Morris and my sleeper is David Dawson

At least one player who we believe belongs on the ESPN 150 will not make the list. Someone will ask, "WHY DOES ESPN HAVE IT OUT FOR US???"

If you guys click each of our commits profiles Only Dawson, Morris, Thomas, Mccray have "traits" next to their profile explaining what they're best at. All of the other commits don't have any "traits." ESPN is only doing the top 150 so they will want those guys profiles complete.

Just my guess?

This would indicate 6 players.  So if we make some assumptions that number may be close.

If you assume that we will have a top 5 class and take the trends from the last 4 ESPN 150's, 6 might be the starting number (which I know will make everyone angry).

The average top 5 class over the last 4 years averages 40% of their players in the 150.  The average top 3 class over the last 4 years averages 45%.  So that comes out to 7 or 8 guys out of 17 if you take the percentages.

So I would guess 10-11 when recruiting is final.

Kugler and morris will be in the top 20...Some tweets from Tom Luginbill about the ESPN 150 also points out that some illinois linemen will be highly rated..

The state of Illinois is having a rare year for prospects, especially offensive lineman.

There is a center in top 20 of and he is that good.

This is the best group of pocket passers in the QB class of 2013 we have seen in awhile. The dual-threats are down in numbers.

TomVH has said we'll be happy with the list and he knows the fanbase well, so I'm remaining cautiously optimistic.  If it sucks, we'll know he has been lost to the dark side forever.

I fully expect no one to be happy with it....thought on that note i expect Shane to have his highest ranking on ESPN.

If I'm not mistaken Luginbill loves Shane.

will be shocked if Shane is not a 5 star!!! My guess is any where from 6 to 13 players in the ESPN 150. ESPN has not like MICHIGAN the last couple years,I think this year we get some respect!!! We have alot of talent in this class. GO BLUE!!!

To be clear, we're going to wait to see these before deciding whether the ESPN rankings are complete garbage or a wonderful complement to the other sites' rankings, right?

I predict all of our prospects will be tied for the number #1 ranked prospect.  Also everyone we are going after will be tied for 18th.  But, if they end up signing with us, they will move up to a tie for #1 as well.

I think Morris is the highest ranked at #9, a four star (since ESPN has the lowest number of 5 stars).   I think there are 9 players in the 150, including the whole o-line, Thomas, Morris, McCray and Lewis (a surprise until that last camp)

My guess is that we'll have somewhere in the neighborhood of 17 in the ESPN150, with 23-24 by signing day. I also understand they're adjusting our class of 2012 to have roughly 28 recruits in the 150.

Forget ESPN, I am a new fan of Bleacher Report (yes that former trash rag). 2 of top ten nastiest 2013 recruits are Michigan men with Kulger #1 and Shallman #4. Vanderdoes is #9.
