Oh I know I am. But yet I can't wait to be 5-0 when we play MSU and whoop the shit out of Lil Brother.
Ermanni on WDFN: Michigan fans. Enjoy these wins.
Enjoy these wins?
More like parade all over fucking town. I've no problem enjoying these wins. I'm impressed with coach's game plan on offense and GERG is making strides with our D. We have a team. I have a smile.
Prayers have been answered
Becuase "mourning" wins and crying about wins never seemed right to me. But that's just me. I was always a kind of "enjoy wins" kind of guy. Silly, I know. Gosh it is so great to know that WDFN is out there to shepherd the century-plus history of University of Michigan football.
What exactly is this "simple concept" to keep in mind? That we are fans and should be excited? There's nothing interesting there - Jesus people, there is no need to start a thread about every notion you think is interesting.
Here's another simple concept: Don't find it interesting, don't read it and definitely don't belittle another Michigan fan about it.
I see way too much of that insolent garbage on here. I have mentioned it defending other posters 4 previous times. That is 4 other times too many.
I could care less what you say about my thread, but everyone definitely needs to think twice before they behave rudely to others. This blog goes from zero to crap in 5 seconds or less every time it is done.
People who just have to be a rude smart ass critic, Simon Coward or whatever his name just left American Idol.
Rude? Wow, and here I thought I was taking it easy on you. I am sorry I am ruining your MGoBlog experience. I have a good therapist I can recommend to you. Just let me know.
Nonetheless, I will continue to be as Rude as I feel I need to be. How's this for being "Rude"?
Well, it certainly is Ravishing. +1
RIP Rude and he was a great Intercontinental Champion.
Sensitive much? Geez, you act as though he ruined your day. Btw, please change that hideous pic you have. It's scaring the women and children.
Why don't you have a seat over there?
Enjoy these wins?! HOW THE HELL CAN I DO THAT?!?! Denard is running the ball too much, none of the running backs have had big games yet, Tate's not playing, the secondary is giving up to many big plays, we have injured personnel in said secondary, we have to win at least six more game for RR to keep his job, we're toast when the Big Ten season starts, plus it's just two games!!! Remember, we started off 4-0 last season before the wheels fell off, and there was Heisman hype surrounding Tate too. Just take a deep breath a relax people. How was my Debbie Downer/MSU/OSU impersonation?
He stayed on U of M for another half hour and moved the other stuff back. Apparently Michigan topics get those lines jammed fast.
I am still enjoying the victories, but I am really waiting for MSU this year. Their players, coaches, and fans have gotten more "mileage" out of two victories than any team in the country. You would think they won two national championships just by their talk. Also, 6-0 would guarantee a bowl and silence a lot of critics, even those predicting collapse.
Of course, OSU is still the ultimate measuring stick, at least until next season when Michigan will be the ultimate measuring stick for the next decade or so, but beating MSU means a lot to this team. It means shutting up EL. It means Saint Dantonio won't be able to brag about "dominating instate recruiting" with a straight face anymore. Most of all, it would mean that the team has, indeed, improved enough to beat the second/middle level teams that they couldn't beat the last two years.
A victory over MSU makes Michigan favorites against Purdue, Illinois, and maybe even PSU. And it opens the possibility of this team making it into double digits in the win column a year "early."
Most of all, it will keep the possibility alive that by the OSU game, Michigan will be the "feel-good story" of the year in college sports, and that would make OSU look a lot more beatable.
Shake a Buckeye and notify him we're going to beat their ass this year.
+1 for the Earle Bruce quote (even though he's a Buckeye)
Definitely enjoying it (and my family is too!) Its been a great 2 weeks so far ....I know I've seen a lot of "6 wins gets us in a bowl" - does a win over UMass count towards bowl eligibility or do we need 7 wins this year? appreciate any clarification - (hopefully this won;t be an issue as we get 8+ wins and its a moot point!)
allows one win over a FCS opponent; the rule changed about the time the schedule went to 12 games, IIRC. 6-6 would qualify.
I've been enjoying this win all throughout the weekend and current week so far, and I will continue to do so until our boys take the field against UMass.
