Enhanced viewing of Notre Dame Offensive UFR now up
The advanced UFR viewer app now covers the Offensive UFR for Notre Dame 2012 at:
The video for the offense is full play-by-play as opposed to the "every snap" variety.
Since this is the bye week, there will be no new UFRs to view next week ... or will there be? Stay tuned.

If your point is that I shouldn't be posting these notifications on the board, well that was my original plan, to just assume that people would figure it out on their own.
However, it soon became obvious that this was not the case. Until the noficiations are posted on the mgoboard, the traffic at the viewer launch site is essentially zero. Once the notications are posted, hundreds of fans visit to use the enhanced viewer. Since I have to do work each week to synch the viewer to the posted UFRs, it is not always immediately available, so I am saving interested parties the trouble of visiting the site only to find that the viewer is not yet ready.
Thorin, you yourself post frequent notices when your videos are available on MGoVideo. Should MGoBlog users just figure that out for themselves by visiting your site?
I have put a significant effort into building and maintaining this utility as a service to the MGoBlue community. If there is a consensus that the posts are more annoying than useful, I will cease updating the utility and posting the notices.

I think you should keep posting, but I'm not Thorin. Threads usually die once they're halfway down the list anyway

Go back and look at how many replies you're getting compared to everything else on mgoboard. I'm not aware of any other user who has posted so many threads with little else than a link to their site. If your site can't stand on its own, there's probably a reason for that. Feel free not to tag or mention mgovideo if you continue to spam your site on the board.

I'm taking the longview on this - your app offers a much more coherent way to sift through data than anything I've encountered. It's the future. THE FUTUREEEEE. No, but really - someone needs to do this strictly because it's the cornerstone for future crowdsourced webapps or collaboration. Small amount of non-referral traffic? Who cares.
what if I want to see every play that Denard ran against BCS teams who ran a 4-3 defense, and have all the snaps in a playlist? Eventually, we're going to compile and index the data where that's possible.
everyone has to start somewhere. I really enjoy the work you do WolverineBlue, and I hope you continue iterating on these ehanced UFR's.

What I'm wondering is why you'd even want to facilitate folks watching our offense against ND. Forget about the notification, what kind of masochist would even do an enhanced UFR?
(Just pulling your leg. I appreciate your work. But I hope you'll understand if I take a pass on this one.)

Why is no one talking about the crazy good spot that ND got on the last offensive play? (the 3rd and 9 run that got a first down). In the replay, his helmet barely hits the 21 yard line, yet they spot the ball accross the 21, giving ND a 1st by about 6inches.
I dont know if the play was reviewable, but it then makes ND kick a 38yard field goal from the wrong side of the field, and we'd still have denard with 47seconds left.
Wouldve given us a chance.

these are great. and love to anazyle the film. Will there be every snap offense for ND?
