Enhanced viewing of Northwestern Defensive UFR available; except...
Enhanced viewing of the Defensive UFR for the Northwestern game is now available. The viewer is a web application that lets you step through the analysis play by play or search and filter selectively based on a wide range of criteria. For some plays, one click takes you to the video clip of the selected play.
However, this week's video is limited to only selected plays. The linked video clips are from a highlight compilation. The usual "Every Snap" videos from MGoVideo.com are not available this week on YouTube due to possible copyright issues. It is not my place to comment on the availability of these videos, so we will just have to see how this plays out.
You can access the launcher page for the UFR viewer here:

Enjoy as best as you can.

This is truly incredible. Seems like an incredible amount of work has gone into this. Ive seen a few bugs but I think this could evolve into something really impressive. Great work

If you have seen a few bugs, I would appreciate you reporting them. Can't fix them if I don't know about them.

I'm serving every snap videos directly from mgovideo for now. Embedding has been disabled.

I did see that. I also noticed that you are using the JW Player. I might be able to support that, but it will take some work. I'm not sure if the player supports script-based cueing like the YouTube player, so indexing to specific plays would be difficult without that. I did look at JW Player a couple of months ago, but had difficulty getting it to work.
I also noticed the playback is very choppy. Is that just me, or is that a common issue?
Edit: Then again, maybe you're not using JW Player; using a re-skinned version of the Adobe Flash player? Either way, nothing I can do for now.

It's playing smoothly for me but I'll trying reducing the video quality a bit to see if that helps.

Blogs really need to start getting there videos hosted by other sites besides youtube. If you through Brian's old UV's from the last 3-4 years I'm willing to be 30-40 percent of the embedded videos now say unavailable.

but that's the work of Thought Equity Motion, a useless firm that goes around making copyright claims on behalf of companies that have given it the right to do so because they can't think critically enough to understand what's actually good for their bottom line.
