Yes. Meyer is very aggressive. When it comes to fourth and short and they're at midfield or in the opponent's territory, he's likely going to opt to go for it. I like that aggression. I feel that more coaches should grow a pair and do the same. Chances are higher than people think that they're going to get the first down on fourth and short. The old belief is to just punt, even when it's fourth and inches. That is absurd to me.

Not much to say about the article, but holy smokes that is a vastly better-looking blog than this one. I haven't visited elevenwarriers in years, but it currently makes this blog, in terms of layout and visuals (despite the colors), look like a holdover from 2008.

Depends on a few key variables. Storage, network traffic, etc.

I work with AWS (Amazon Web Services), it is scaleable and 'pay as you go'.

I think Brian, wants to keep that classic feel to mgoblog.

It's really incredible that Chase Winovich is second on the team in sacks. Kid plays his heart out every snap he gets. Hope he has a monster off-season and puts on a little size to defend the run. He's a lot of fun to watch.

this doesn't translate easily into English.

This is actually the ancient language R'lyehian - as chanted by the wide ranging Cthulhu Cult.

The closest approximation to an English translation is OPUSINGTHISWORDISADOUCHEBAG.

Sorry I cannot be more helpful.

Don Brown should be given more credit than he gets already having these guys ready to execute his, especially by college football standards, complex schemes.

Just imagine the defense when the senior ladened team has been learning it for 4-5 years.

As previously mentioned the key to the game is stopping Barrett. We have the D to contain Weber. I believe we can do a solid job with Samuels as well (he'll be good for a couple big gains). But consistently throughout the day Michigan will get OSU in 3rd and 6 - 3rd and 3 situations. I'd OSU has success on those consistently throughout it'll be on the legs of Barrett. Likely towards the end it'll be nearly 85% of the work.

And still they refuse to give credit for 369 yards to the M's lack of interior DL last year.  That's okay...  I kinda hope they expect to run up the middle.  'Cuz if they do, it'll be stopped cold.  And that puts them in passing situations, where the defense has a huge opportunity to win.  Squeeze the pocket closed, giving Barrett nowhere to throw, or run.  No need to force things and open up a lane - keep all pocket exit lanes closed and force JT to make a perfect throw.

Brown was hired to stop this offense.  He wasn't hired to stop Iowa, MSU, or UW.  He was hired to stop OSU.  As well as the defense played, I really think Iowa was overlooked.  And seeing the Indiana game convinces me even more.  Providing the QB situation sorts itself out, I think Harbaugh has been looking to this game since the bye week.

Some of the comments are absolutely hilarious.  They are literally talking about how the offensive gameplan should be to directly attack Peppers and Lewis.

Good luck with that one fellas!

for decades with surprising success. Reverse psychology 101.  The classic eff you to extraordinary claims by opponents.

"Oh, so you say you're run defense is your strength, well, we're gonna run right at you, and there isn't anything you can do to stop us."

Of course, against really stout defenses, if you live by the sword, then you gonna die by the sword.

Some teams have had good success running the ball against Michigan - MSU, Maryland and Iowa for example.  But Michigan usually adjusted pretty well.

I like Michigan's chances to keep the game lower scoring.

I don't like Michigan's chances on offense unless Speight is slinging it downfield to keep the Buckeyes LBs and secondary honest.
