EMU vs Old Dominion Bahamas Bowl Thread

Surprised this isn't up yet. Eastern down 0-3 at the end of the 1st Quarter in front of about 17 fans. Eastern's offense so far is basically some talented receivers and a scrambling quarterback who's making some good decisions.

Reminds me of my former employer. Any travel or anything else that had any chance of being enjoyable was gradually phased out, usually to save money. Except for the bossman. For him, luxury travel on the company dime ramped up. Vail, Tampa, Dubai. Pretty soon there was no point to working there other than the paycheck. Then every quality employee with a credible option left, and the company is struggling. Kind of like ESPN

Yes I can. There is a bit of a delay, it seems, between a given event and them saying what happened.
I also base it on what they say. Some of the language they use (I can't give specific examples, I just sense it)

I haven't watched the whole thing, but if they never show them announcing up in the booth, I guarantee it. They always show the announcers in the booth at some point, usually a couple of times.

more remarkable is the radio side.  A guy named Brian Hanni is doing the National Radio broadcast (yes, there is a national radio broadcast for this game).

Anyway, he is onsite, AFTER being in Las Vegas for the Kansas @ UNLV basketball game LAST NIGHT!  Not sure how he made that Vegas to Nassau travel work, but he did.

I thought that Derrick Green should have transferred to ODU rather than TCU. You'd actually be closer to home and have a chance to be physically better than most players in the conference again.

I was really surprised he didn't go to a school in Virginia. I expected him to end up at JMU or Richmond where he could join a good team and get a chance to play. I get the draw of heading to Dallas to play for TCU because that's a cool one year stint but I was expecting to see him in Virginia
