Email alert for MGoBlog main page posts?
I would like to receive email alerts when a new post has been made on the front page. Is there an option that allows me to do this?
I have Facebook, so I would also be satisfied if there was an option through Facebook that allows me to get those alerts.Or should I just suck it up and check the main page more than the ten times daily that I already check?

Twitter. Follow MGoBlog there, and you'll get Tweet updates. Hope that is sufficient.

For me, I find it useful as an RSS reader for my phone. The Google Reader app doesn't work the way I'd like it to, but the blogs/websites/newspapers I follow on twitter pump out a tweet when they publish a new article.

I used to be one of those avoid Twitter out of principle people, but since I've started using it in the last 4 months or so, its now my favorite news outlet. Follow the right people and its the fastest way to get news as it happens. You don't have to tweet anything yourself, just sign up, follow people relevant to you, and you'll be surprised how useful it becomes. If/when there's a coaching change, Twitter will be the first place the news is broken.

you can do it via facebook....go to the mgoblog page and under the profile picture it says 'subsribe via SMS' click that.

create Twitter account
link your account to your phone number in Settings
add MGoBlog
click the SMS/msg me when updates occur (cell phone icon)

... you can also sign up for the RSS under the "MGoElswhere" title in the left navigation panel. This will send the main page content to your email account.
