Expectation on the second free throw is close to meaningless, I think. Missing it makes it more difficult for Tennessee to score at all, but of course then if they do score they win on the spot. It probably doesn't matter much overall. I'd actually prefer to miss, personally, with 2.x seconds left on the clock and a 2 point lead.

Of course, if you want to miss, you may as well miss the first one, so obviously this wasn't the plan.

edit: no, actually, you should make the first, miss the second. This is because of the possibility that you rebound the miss and get fouled. Then you're up two shooting to make it a four point game. Therefore, Stauskas played those FTs perfectly. Go blue.

Definitely.  They'd have probably gotten a much better look off a made free throw.
