Elijah Hood - ND #1, Mich #2, OSU #3
Elijah Hood released a new top three. Notre Dame holds on to the top spot, Michigan is now #2, and Ohio State is #3. From his quotes, it sounds like not much has changed, and he'll still wind up at Notre Dame. He's looking to make a decision in the spring.

Hooray?

I think he'd much rather play for Michigan. At least the girls in Ann Arbor are real...
February 25th, 2013 at 6:34 PM ^
Oh, they're real. And they're spectacular(ly average).
February 25th, 2013 at 6:38 PM ^
We're comparing to Notre Dame remember...

I was just about to say, he obviously has not been to Notre Dame....
February 25th, 2013 at 7:23 PM ^

Post Lizzy Seeburg and Brian Kelly's don't ask don't tell look the other way policy this seems in somewhat bad taste.

But when it comes to the women, he doesn't need to BE there, he can just get a virtual tour and see all he needs to see.

My wife is way above average. So there.

So she's the one...

I guess he wasn't that blown away or did he visit ND again after he left OSU.
February 25th, 2013 at 6:33 PM ^
chances he comes back for another visit before he decides?
February 25th, 2013 at 6:37 PM ^
Sheesh. Tough crowd. We went from 5th to 2nd in a one day visit. Get him up for a weekend and he'll see that there are actually places to go in Ann Arbor and maybe well get another bump.
February 25th, 2013 at 6:58 PM ^
Are you implying that there aren't places to go and things to do in South Bend, Indiana? I'll have you know that it's been called "The Paris of the Midwest".

My dad lived in SB for a while. He lived on a road that was a cut-through from the campus to 80. He and his next door neighbor lived on a large curve. His next door neighbor installed a very large boulder in his front yard because people kept driving straight across the yards, missing the curve in the road.
We would go out for dinner and drinks, then take a go cup back to his house where we would sit on the front porch and wait for someone to challenge the boulder. I believe the boulder is undefeated to this day.
High times, my friend, high times. You can't find entertainment like that just anywhere.

So was Detroit
edit: kudos for being quicker on the draw McMurtry...

He doesn't really seem like a RB who would fit well in a spread offense.
February 25th, 2013 at 6:52 PM ^
Based off of what? He's certainly quick enough to stretch the field. Are you just looking at his size? Because it isn't that different from Cierre Wood or George Atkinson's.
February 25th, 2013 at 7:05 PM ^
Just because you are a big back doesn't mean you cannot be used in a spread offense. Look at Carlos Hyde and Cierre wood from last season
February 26th, 2013 at 10:36 AM ^
Carlos Hyde and Cierre Wood are two completely different tailbacks.
February 25th, 2013 at 7:18 PM ^
at least we won't play against him. . .
February 25th, 2013 at 7:22 PM ^
He said he was so high on UM that he'd put us at #1, but he needed to "relax" after the visit and then reassess.
I think he's ours if we can just keep him from relaxing.
February 25th, 2013 at 10:51 PM ^
Where did he say that? I read the Insider article and it said nothing of the sort.
February 25th, 2013 at 7:38 PM ^
We're number 2,we're number 2.

If your not first.. You're last.

As much as I always want elite talent I'm pretty sure we won't need him for at least several years. I'm sold on The guys we have. I think there's still time to move ahead of ND so I'm not overly concerned yet
February 26th, 2013 at 12:43 PM ^
Recruits can bust. Players get injured. You always need to recruit elite talent because there are no guarantees of either performance or health. Look at Fitz. Looked great one year, looked lousy the next, and then broke his leg. Ask Iowa about how you can feel as if you are OK at RB and then you aren't.

This thread is going to fun to look back on come signing day next year lmao!
