Screw Magnus' scouting report, we finally get to figure out if this kid is any good based on his decision Tuesday. #homer

I expect him to be a blue chip recruit
April 19th, 2012 at 11:44 PM ^
I'd say we're a safe bet to land his services. The class is filling up quick with elite talent, and his Mom loves the school. Elite recruits want to play with other elite recruits.
Then again, anything can happen. I won't be surprised if he picks FSU either.
Starts with "i'd say we're a safe bet..." and ends with "I won't be suprpised if he pick FSU..."
Conflicted?

I would bet that
1. Levenberry chooses Michigan
2. RDT is a michigan man
April 19th, 2012 at 11:54 PM ^
That would be quite the long con he's playing on us. He's been here going on 11 weeks. Think after we beat Bama he pulls a "gotcha"?
April 19th, 2012 at 11:56 PM ^
as long as he gives us his best scouting report just BEFORE the Alabama game . . .

My heart says GO BLUE but that little voice I am hearing says he likes FSU. I just can't see Hoke turning away O Daniel and Anazolone unless he was fairly sure,
Side note - Cravens almost committed to USC this weekend, so if we want him we better show him.
Side note - id say we have a 50/50 shot at landing Fuller as well, after his visit.
How do you know about Cravens and Fuller. I heard the reports on Cravens but I was wondering if you knew something we didn't. I know we made up a lot of ground on Fuller and are chances are much better than most think but 50/50?
(the 6th, maybe?) which does not bode well for UM since he hasn't visited, just was at USC, and can't do an official if he announces in June.
Time to hop off the Cravens train imo.
but he did say that he is taking an unofficial to Michigan before declaring
I also heard that his Mothers birthday is in June and he may be announcing then in honor of her birthday...
April 20th, 2012 at 12:07 AM ^
I don't understand why he doens't just make an account and announce on mgoblog. That would really save all of us a lot of trouble.

Levenberry is going blue. He is a fit at Michigan all the way. He will do great things at Michigan. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a Seminole uniform...but I feel like Michigan is the best fit for him....and this is coming from someone who played there. Also, FSU may not be Michigan Academically but Fsu does have some great programs of study and routinely churns out rhode scholars so...it is NOT a school for the blind. I don't think Jimbo is pressing for EJ....and I think Michigan will give this kid an opportunity unparalleled in college football. This will be a great coup to upstage Ohio's big recruiting weekend. Go noles and Go blue!!

When did you play at FSU and why are you on this board? (That's not supposed to sound mean; I genuinely want to know your connection to Michigan).
April 20th, 2012 at 12:17 AM ^
Curious how a former Seminole DB ends up on MgoBlog with a "michigan man" handle. But in any case, welcome!

Yeah exactly. That's why I asked too.

...but I imagine that there are some very good schools for the blind. I happen to know of an excellent school for the deaf. I believe the apt comparison would be MSU.
schools for the blind. it is where the major conferences, the NBA and the nhl recruit their refs.

At this point the UM Rivals site has a Levenberry announcement article on the front page, where the FSU site has no mention of it. While this seems a bit trivial, it has actually turned out to be a decent indicator in the past.
So Go Blue, young man!

Myself and family are all from Detroit area...born and raised...except for 7 years in sarasota Florida back and forth. Went to Salem high school in Canton for first two years. Family crap forced me to move to sarasota where I graduated. Earned a couple academic schollies but enlisted in the Marines prior to my senior year. Got out of corps in 06...played basketball for USF for a semester..(didn't make travel...basically practice player...no scholly)...transferred to FSU which was my co-dream school along with Michigan. Grew up worshipping both athletic programs....particluarly the Michigan football team in the Big House. My grandfather aunt and uncle have worked a combined 70 years directly for the University of Michigan. Uncle works for the athletic dept directly currently and gives me the honor of sharing his press box passes lol. Walked on to Fsu in 08 and played two years. Cracked two deep briefly but only saw game action as a special teamer. I got a chance to play for the greatest coach ever in coach Bowden and would have transferred to Michigan if it weren't for him. All my academic schollies outside of VJ bill were all Florida state school specific so that was also a major factor. I'm a Michigan man in my heart. Never attended the university unfortunately....but have the utmost respect. Thats a book and I'm def not that important. I'm on this board because Michigan and FSu sports are pretty much my life.
Because it matches with the Marine Corps Times article about you and your collegiate number. Glad to have you amongst us and thank you for your service!
Thank you for your service michiganman14, you definitely sound like the personification of a Michigan Man.
That's just flat out impressive. Well done, Michiganman14.
I have lived inTallahasse for 24 years, but I'm from Michigan. I also live for Wolverines and Seminoles, but when it all boils down...I'm Michigan all the way. C'mon EJ ...GO BLUE!!
Thanks for your service. I appreciate anyone who serves our country in the military.
Wow. Your story is pretty amazing. I'm glad to have you on here and can actually share your affection for FSU.
I grew up in a very pro-Notre Dame part of Chicago in the "Catholics v. Convicts" era. I hated Miami almost as much as I hated SC, and so FSU became a favorite of mine since they also hated Miami lol. There aren't too many college venues where I really want to watch a football game, but I would LOVE to watch Chief Osceola ride in on Renegade and experience the gameday atmosphere at Doak Campbell.
Thanks for being so open about all of that. It is a really cool story, and I can actually say I like the Seminoles a little bit more as the result of your passion.
The great journey of Life.. Crazy journey but glad your a Michigan man.. Also for some reason I dont have hatred for FSU like I do for them damn Gators.. Love the CHOP

We're SOOO DUE here. After the Dunns and the Pryors and the other high profilers who came down to a 50/50 shot that we've lost, it's long overdue we get one of these drumroll, head to head recruiting wins. CMON EJ!!!!! BLUE BABY BLUE!

Mike Farrell is acknowledging that it's going to be close. I'm pretty sure this means we're a lot to get him now.
He was my secondary mate at FSU and a pretty good player. He had issues transferring his credits and Michigan only accepted a fraction of them....needless to aay Ohio accepted them all.

That's a pretty awesome video. I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around how someone who played for a D1 football team has dual fanship, but hey, those maize and blue colors run deep. If this is an elaborate trick, then you both succeeded in your very detailed attempt and failed at life for devoting so much time to deceiving a blog. I buy it. Good to have a knowledgeable poster on the board.
I buy it. Good to have you with us and thanks for your service.
great video and great story ricardo!
i was at the game when buckley took the INT to the house. my freshman year. i loved fsu coming up as you did, but when i got to AA, it was over for that.
thanks for your service and happy ot have you on here!
go blue
The polo proves it for me. Hope you stay active on the board, man.
I believed you from the beginning. Cool story and thank you for your service as well as for contributing to the blog
