Mike Farrell is the one who broke this story and clearly has an in with the family. He has maintained FSU all along, and still now he is predicting FSU. I am trying to stay optimistic, but I think we should all be preparing for the worst here. I don't think he would put this out there unless he was certain especially given the amount of grief Michigan fans have given him. I think the only reason he hasn't made his prediction more defiinitive is to give Levenberry his moment on Tuesday.

As the poster above mentions, we would only take another LB if it was Levenberry. If he doesn't commit, we're done pursuing LBs as we have more pressing needs.

But do we know that? I know that's been reported to be the case, but it's not like we heard Hoke say it, and even if it was once the case, those things tend to change. Maybe the coaches have come across another LB or two that they like as much as EJ? Maybe they feel there will be more scholarships, and they'd like to take a 3rd LB no matter what.
This stuff is very fluid, and not all of the "facts" that get reported are 100% true.

The one thing that convinces me though is that Dorian Daniels and Anzalone were told to move on. Those are high caliber guys that we would have been lucky to have in any other year where LB wasn't so stocked.

Let's be honest here. You don't think Hoke pressures these kids to commit simply because he is our coach. He has strung together two amazing recruiting classes. Let's not pretend he doesn't know how to lean a little.
That's not a bad trait for a coach, especially one that seems to be so honestly caring about his players. He's still a head coach though, and even though he coaches at Michigan, his poop does not smell like roses nor does it shimmer like gold...
