Eddie Lacy sprained knee and twists ankle Edit. Rumor of acl tear.
where you're going with that and I don't completely disagree, but I couldn't care less what strength they're at as long as we win.
So you would be disappointed if Nick Saban suffered a massive heart attack during the game, died on the field and Alabama forfeited? I probably wouldn't. Especially if the heart attack happened right after a long Denard TD.
Everyone knows that Saban doesn't have a heart.
"Deserve to Win!"
Don't compare Saban to The Grinch. I actually like The Grinch.
"Anyone who isn't confused, really doesn't understand the situation." - Edward R. Murrow
The Grinch is more like Dantonio anyway.
"A Michigan Man will coach a Michigan Team"
I would certainly be saddened if Alabama's head coach suffered a massive heart attack and died.
Is this RCMB? Of course we'd be disappointed. Nick Saban is a human being with friends and a family that loves him. There's more to life than football.
Like knowing that we too can't not die in a freak gasoline fight accident
I could pretend that I wanted to play against him, but to be honest...I do not at all...
However, hearing about injuries for any player is always really sad... This year was his chance to be the 'next man' in line at Bama.... Here's to a quick recovery, Eddie...
TJ Yeldon scares me just as much behind that offensive line
Also bothers the shit out of me that chances are pretty high we see Dee Hart rush against us.. I hope we bottle him up.
On the fifth night—possibly the sixth—a breeze arose.
It was cool and dewy.
Running the ball sometimes is the easy part. It is the blocking and picking up blitzes that can sometimes get young RBs in trouble.
Yeldon's advantage is that he was an early enrollee though.
That said, TJ Yeldon is good but he has to sit at some point and it gives us an advantage to not have to face a fresh Lacy when he does

Isn't a Yeldon a true freshman making his career debut against us? People are talking about him like he's a proven commodity.
he had almost 200 all purpose yards (90 rushing 88 receiving) in the Bama spring game.
While this is not a proven commodity, that speaks volumes to his talent and ability.

Are we really counting spring game stats as definitive proof he's good?
If you're doing nothing, how do you know when you're finished?
Isn't that what we've been doing with Rawls?
What part of "this is not a proven commodity" did you not understand?
And yes, I count true freshman stats from spring as an indicator of their ability, especially when they are 5 star talent that was heavily scouted playing on a team known for defense.

I thought Dee Hart already tore his ACL a few months ago and is likely out for the season. Maybe I'm remembering that wrong, or he recovered quickly...
How many times have you been on the freeway and had someone fly by you at 100 mph then end up 2 cars ahead of you at the off ramp? What's the point? -Mark Harmon
'twas last year i believe... he should be ready to go against us
Dee Hart is 100% recovered from his ACL tear.
Abort, Retry, Fail?
Running backs have returned 12 months after surgery, but it usually takes longer to regain explosiveness...
has been converted to receiver. Not sure where he is on the depth chart.
Looks like we're both having RB problems. I hope he gets well soon, because he's a beast.
Florida Wolverines have dreadlocks...
Well with that OLine.....I am almost positive some of us could run for at least 50 yds by accident.
Now with that being said we would be in a full body cast at the end of the day. but 50 yds is 50 yds.
Yeldon was supposedly having a great camp and they were going to split carries.
This doesn't really change much, especially at RB where freshman can make an instant impact easier than QB or OL.
Tough break for Bama, heart goes out to Lacy.
“True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise — the other, loyalty.”
Yeldon is a talent, but he's no Eddie lacy.
Sorry everyone but it appears it's just rumor
By no means do I trust Nick Saban, but I still trust him more than some random guy on the internet named Daniel Blanchard.
Saban must have a bumper crop of recruits this year.
Even if Lacy's out, Saban's going to have another stud back there toting the rock. I heard their freshman, TJ Yeldon, looked real good in spring ball.
Dee Hart should also be fully recovered for them, too. They'll be just fine w/o Lacy. Still, never like to hear about those kinds of injuries. I hoped he'd be out there on the field. I don't want there to be any excuses when we beat them.
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk
Yeah I agree this is relatively irrelevant because Sabans gameplan is not going to change. On offense he is going to run the ball right at our D-line and then work some dink and dunk high percentage stuff for McCarron either out to the flat or play action over the top of our linebackers. On defense he will be playing a lot of man to man coverage, stacking the box against whoever and Denard. Denard is going to have to make them pay throwing the ball downfield.
Who's going to catch the ball downfield?
Gallon, Roundtree, and Gardner seem like the guys to do it.
I hope they've become adept at grabbing jump balls like Hemingway did so frequently... Otherwise, get ready for a few interceptions.

That's awful for him and for us. I want to beat Alabama at full strength, no excuses!
