Eddie Jordan to coach Rutgers
Lakers asst Eddie Jordan will be the next coach at Rutgers. I think this is a great hire by Rutgers, hopefully they will become relevant in the BIG.

Very, very solid hire. Jordan did a wonderful job with the Wizards.
I know he's got some time on his hands and he has a knack for discovering young talent, but F1 to college basketball seems like a bit of a...
Oh. Right.
I don't think he can even salvage enough players to run full practices without walk-ons this season. He will have a year to get it right. Rutgers could be a tomato can in both football and basketball for awhile.
unlike football a basketball coach can turn around a program in one year. Jordan is a African American coach who played and coached in the NBA , I have no doubt he will recruit at a high level sooner then later.
Great hire for Rutgers.
