I owe you an email, btw. To answer your question for your email, in a word: yes. But, I'll hit you back this week, I promise.

From one Jim Harbaugh lover to another, I have to ask.....have you seen a better performance out of a MIchigan QB? It's been spinning in my head for a full day, I cant come up with one that was better.

It started at -6 this morning, and it is already down to  -4.5. That should give ya a clue as to where the real money is going. With all the Denard hype, it may get down to -3.5 or so by gametime.

I'm gonna predict a very similar outcome to the UCONN game.  I think our team is breathing fire right now because of all of the criticism over what happened last year.   More importantly I don't see Notre Dame having any better of a defensive answer for D. Rob's speed.  GO BLUE!!

I know these comparisons aren't valid, and I am leery about this game, but didn't Michigan just trounce a team that beat ND last year?  I can't see UConn deteriorating or ND improving enough that ND should be favored.  I guess all of those ND bettors "know" more than I do about ND.

well, ND just beat a team that beat us last year, so...

It really comes down to matchups. ND plays a 3-4. Do they really have the speed on the outside to contain Denard? Can any of their OLBs make tough stops one on one?

Watched their game on nbc.com and it looked like they rarely, if at all, played nickel. Their safeties didn't really do much of anything. and they let their LBs drop into coverage a lot. I assume they will mostly be in nickel against us and rely on their front 3 to create pressure while keeping their LBs/DBs in to contain .They had (I think) 4 sacks from their d-lineman yesterday.

So I think the big question is whether ND's d line can create pressure without blitzes and whether their LBs/Nickel D can make plays in space.

To qualify, it should be against a legitimate opponent, which U Conn is thought to be.  Statistically, has there ever been a better performance? Denard set the record for total yards, and 2nd for completion percentage...6.8 yards per carry, and what was his QB rating?

But after saturday i think we have a good shot of winning this game.If you watched the highlights on sportscenter purdue's qb ran for a 30 yard touchdown,im sure denard will be able to as well.I think the defense will play tighter coverage, and we will win hopefully.Go Blue
