Going to tOSU was a big mistake for Pryor. Might as well be playing with an arm tied behind his back with that play calling.

Part of me agrees (the part of me that WANTS to think TP made a mistake), but really, dude's been kicking ass and taking names as a starter since he got to OSU, has a Rose Bowl under his belt, is leading the #2 team in the nation, and will be talked about as a top 10 pick (if he stays next year - if he leaves early, I think that'd be a huge mistake - ton of mechanical issues to work on, but still, kid's clearly got NFL potential).  Can't really say he made that big of a mistake, you know?  If he wanted to win, he's done it.  In spades.  If he wanted to get to the NFL, well, pretty sure NFL scouts will grade his build, skillset, etc., very high, even if the production is tamped down by Tressel Ball.

I agree with your point about wins. My thought was that he should dominate games and shoulder more of the offensive workload. With his skills, and in the right offense, he could've gone down as the most dominant player in modern college football.

I honestly don't see why anyone would want to draft Pryor anyway. To do what? He wins at OSU but then he isn't really a standout at anything. He's an athlete but the NFL is full of athletes and the NCAA has much much better actual QBs on offer than Pryor. He couldn't even get drafted as a wildcat Pat-white style experiment, especially after what happened with pat white discouraging it.

What does Pryor offer a team that would make it worth drafting him in the top 3 rounds? Not as a QB, not as an RB, not as a WR. Where would you play him?

I'm glad we have "Temptation."  Every other team in the country, it seems, has to play that Star Wars song after a defensive stop.

This might be a terrible question to ask, but I'll give it a try. Who would have a better statistical season in our offense, all other things being equal? I still say D Rob, because while Pryor might be better throwing down the field, D Rob is a more accurate passer within 15 yards IMO.

Absolutely disgree.  Denard is faster and quicker. Remember that 3rd and 2 last game that Denard took it to the house? Pryor would have gotten stopped.

In terms of passing, Denard this season has been more efficient with his down field passing which is the big "OMG PRYOR DOES THIS BETTER" point. However, Pryor has had more chances, but that's not because of his skill set, it's because of the play call.

I think based on pure athleticism and "natural talent", Pryor would be a great fit for this offense and could put up similar numbers (maybe not exactly the same, but close).  But as we all saw during his recruitment and since being at OSU, he has attitude issues that would have derailed this team.  People were having conniptions with the notion that Tate was not "in" with the team, and Pryor would have been a 100 times worse as UM struggled the past few years.  Robinson has shown far more maturity and humility than Pryor, and for this team and this offense, you need a QB who has these skills to complement his physical abilities.

lol, oh yes, once I realize that maybe one or two of these games arent compelling, that Ryder Cup will be back on. Had it on all morning. Great stuff.

Hell, maybe even throw a peak at fox baseball later today with two spots for the postseason still up in the air

Cheer, right back at you
