Look, we have some problems up front and QB needs to get his confidence back, but we scored 100 points in our first two games.  You seem to have completely forgotten those games ever happened.  If we can stop committing four turnovers per game, I have a hunch we'll score a little bit more.

Purdue just burned a redshirt on a QB named Etling that is supposed to be their future. He threw two lasers to set up a fg to end the half. He might be what to watch in the second half of the early games.

Is it just me? Did Danny Etling fall into the container of eye black?

Also, nice fake punt by Purdue to get the first down. The anti-Zook move - DON'T punt when they least expect it.

The Big Ten needs to sit Purdue down and have a conversation with them. This shit is downright embarrassing.

Can we kick them out of the conference?

Rugers and Maryland are major upgrades over them. Their football program couldn't compete in an FCS conference.

This is a team that nearly lost to Indiana St.  It's a pretty bad program right now, but I guess every conference needs at least one.  I mean, the ACC has UNC, Big 12 apparently has WVU (though today's game is going better than I expected).  But yeah, Purdue needs to figure out what they are doing.

Glad for the fumble on USC, but no way Spurrier was going to let his QB throw for that.  UCF's coaches got RPS'ed pretty badly on that call that they should've known was coming.

I've like your approach of making a team feel better with facts pointing out how them sucking is at least partially self-inflicted, not just getting worked over by a better squad.  Makes you feel like, heck, you almost had a chance to make it a respectable loss.

I think, at the end of the day, Notre Dame just isn't that good. Having Tommy Rees as the QB severely narrows Kelly's playbook, and the defense just isn't what it was last year.

Plus, I think playing Notre Dame is like when you play Michigan, or the Yankees, or any high-end program: every opponent is going to give you their best game.

Duct tape and paper clips. They hung in tight against Notre Dame last year and took Ohio State to overtime, but every other loss was by at least 16 points. They only managed to get bowl eligibility by squeaking out 3-point wins against bad Iowa and Illinois teams.

I think it may just be that they can put together a maximum of two good games a year against major conference opponents.

Looks like we are leaving the game too now.  Lol.  Carolina fans.  Meltdowns everywhere.  I heard at least a dozen people say they are looking forward to BBall.
