MSU is the worst 8-0 team ever. Also, the dumbest team ever. Even after they get the pick to seal the game, the idiot LB tries to run it back, risking a fumble. This after keeping the game alive with the late TD. Stupid and mediocre teams should not win the Big 10.

I am beginning to wonder if God is falling for Dantonio's "gotta go pray" bullshit the same way that the media have.

The word is *their*, and I have nothing against Microsoft. MSU, on the other hand, is a mediocre team that has been fortunate to have some lucky bounces and a soft schedule. Part of me hopes that they meet Boise State in the NCG so that they can get stomped by a team that nobody even thinks is all that good. Overrated, meet underrated.

Ah yes, attacking my intelligence. I guess next you're going to tell me go go set a couch on fire, right? Hey man, I've watched several UM games this year. Believe it or not, I actually don't mind when you guys win when you're not playing MSU. I hate tOSU and ND more than you guys, believe it or not. It's really too bad because I think Brian is a pretty damn good writer and there is a TON of great breakdown here. What is unfortunate is that a lot of non-UM fans here are negatively rated just because they bring opposing viewpoints. I wish some would grow thicker skin. My UM alum friends are for the most part cool as hell. It's the Walverine nation that gives you guys a bad name.

You are because you just came on to gloat. You're too much of a coward to come on when MSU was losing, heck, didn't even have enough faith when they took the lead. Just after it was done. It's not your viewpoints; it's that you're bring a dick, and a cowardly one at that.

1) This is a BYE week. When not watching Michigan, most fans watch other Big Ten games.

2) We might be jealous if we thought that MSU was a great team and was flat out beating other teams. They have looked very mediocre for much of the season, and have been fortunate to be playing teams like NW and Illinois when playing so poorly. I think that they are massively overrated, but have not been exposed yet. Because of the soft schedule, they only have one game of consequence remaining. Kind of like Boise State, most people don't think that MSU is worthy of their lofty ranking, which is why they want them to lose.

3) MSU loses a ton of their starters next year, while Michigan returns the vast majority of ours. MSU fans should probably enjoy their time in the limelight, because next year will probably be very different.

Hey Brah, have you read this thread??? You guys ALWAYS want MSU to lose to whomever they're playing. ROTFLMAO. You're favorite teams? Anyone playing MSU and whichever community college you graduated from.

Coming from some guys who celebrate their team's big win by going and signing up on an opposing team's site to comment there, rather than celebrate with their fans. Who's obsessed? We're not going over there...

And I'm be more impressed if you actually had some balls, and weren't a total coward, and had chimed in when they were losing. But you were probably peeing yourself too much at that point.

Like I said, I think Brian is actually a damn good writer and there is great breakdown here. Which is why I chose to come here for UM analysis. Some of us actually read a lot (or all) of our fellow Big Ten team sites. It's because, you know, we are fans of the game. The NFL doesn't do a ton for me other than my fantasy league and the woeful Lions. I chose to absorb NCAA info. Forgive me for coming here if it offends you so much. I actually like reading breakdowns and analysis of other Big Ten teams and what their fans have to say. Obviously, this is the place to come for UM. Is my presense really that offensive to you?

It's not your presence that is offensive, it's that you came to this thread to come and gloat after a win. There are other spartans who come here and follow this blog like GoBlogSparty, but they don't just comment on this board after a MSU win. They actually contribute something useful to the board. What have you done?

Has it not happened, multiple times in the past, that UM fans have routinely said that MSU is "not a rival"? Obviously tOSU is your big game every year, I'm sure as hell not going to argue that. I would never expect MSU to be on the level that tOSU is for UM, rivalry-wise. Is that true, or not - that there have been those that have said that MSU is "not a rival"?

So no need to apologize. (But I appreciate the sentiment) Sure, there are trolls, but there are other guys who are actually good posters and contribute to the discussions. I actually really enjoy seeing opposing viewpoints. I might have been a bit of a jerk with my initial post, but I had a hard time resisting after seeing a lot of the "worst 8-0 team in the history of the game", "luckiest team ever", etc. Stuff like that is fairly silly.

Silly, maybe, but that's going to happen because it's a Michigan board. I spend a little bit of time on the RCMB every once in a while just to see what's going on, and you have to admit that if someone dropped in there from MGoBlog and did this it wouldn't be received very well (especially a few years ago when the situation was the opposite of how it is now).

All it takes is two minutes of poking around the RCMB to see why you're all here, and it sure isn't to discuss anything. Forgive us for responding with negs. They actually work pretty well for weeding out folks whose only reason for being here is to be as annoying as possible.

I'm sure some of the backlash is annoyance with seeing MSU win while UM has struggled the past two weeks, but the fact remains that this board supports opposing fans (we have a couple of prominent ND and OSU fans) who bring legitimate insight and thought to the discussions. I know that there are UM trolls at the RCMB and that is definitely not acceptable, but most of the MSU posters here come with an attitude, take some low-brow pot shots, and then are surprised when they are negged/banned.
