This, and the 19 threads started by folks to complain about officiating, are your spots to discuss the early games.
As much as I want to get a better feel for Penn State for next week, I don't know if I can stand to watch them play Minnesota. Zzzz.
State's secondary is going to get torched. The question is will Northwestern beat themselves with the turnovers.
From what I saw in Michigan's game, MSU is pretty sound about being in position to make plays. Teams that aren't playing sharp can hurt themselves.
The other question is State's ability to win a shootout. They showed they can score against good teams already so they should be fine. Big Ten road games are tricky.
Its a little more relaxing, but also a bunch less enthralling right now without MICH on the docket.
Rolling with the Big 10 dogs again this week. Hope it goes a bit better this week.
Northwestern: 2 HUGE third and short stops in the run game to get Sparty off the field
3rd down rush D looking stout early.
If this somehow becomes a fumble recovery for State, then its officially their year
Nice 3ed and 18.
First and Goal. Awesome
This NW stadium announcer is eating his microphone.
Watching this Sparty-NW game, it is harder and harder to ignore the fact that Sparty must spend an innordinate amount of time preparing for the Wiscy and (especcially) UM game compared to others. They have looked profoundly meh the past two weeks.
So far, it unfortunately seems to be working out for them.
TD NW. Persa is a lot shiftier than people give him credit for.
I am very happy we are not seeing NW this year..never thought I would say that but this NW offense is very good. Would give us a lot of problems this year.
Maybe I wasn't completely crazy for picking NW over MSU in Pigskin Picks. Long way to go though.
After we lost to them, I asked my one Spartan buddy at my tailgate if they played Northwestern. He said yes, and I just said... "I'm sorry man, but you're gonna lose that one. I just wanted you to know."
Komm süße Schadenfreude....
This is the one week (until December) I can watch college fb w/out the specter of Michigan excitement / despondence / anxiety / ecstasy. No heart racing, just objective analysis and the ability to step away from the screen.
Is it next Saturday yet?
B. Chappell just got IU on the board for IU. IU 7 ILL 3.
And that damn wildcat roar is one of the most annoying things in the world.
He hates it! Hates it!
I always thought it sounded more like a flushing toilet.
Fumble MSU. It looks like they aren't lucky anymore.
PURPLE NORTHWESTERN LUCK STRIKES AGAIN
It is nice to see Dantonio back on the sidelines again.
No question. Credit for him for building this program to this point.
Plus the healthier he is, the better we can all feel about disliking him next year.
NW QB won't be around next year.
EDIT: did Bob just say Pesa was a R/S Junior?
Wow luckiest team alive.
MSU is still really lucky. :(
PURPLE NORTHWESTERN LUCK STRIKES AGAIN
(truth: cats are as unlucky as they are lucky most of the time. shoot themselves in the foot all the time)
Ugh, I really wanted to see 14-0
Is anyone else watching the MSU/NW game with a Sparty? Are you rooting for their happiness, or Northwestern onslaught?
understand why teams go away from their "bread and butter" like that. We did the same thing agains Indiana, with the same result.
Because "everyone" knows you simply MUST go to a convential I formatiion to score from iinside the 5 yard line. Convential coaching wisdom is never wrong is it?
The prevent defense
DAMN IT. NU Fumbles at the 1, Sparty recovers.
He was down i say!
He's down. Don't get too comfy over there Sparty D.
has to get overturned.
Whats the line on Minn. new coach? They are keeping it pretty tight, they also said that Dungey is going to help in the serch.
The NW offense is just running right at MSU. Where's their great LBs making plays?
Not hAve a belly button? What's up with that?
I hope that NW puts some points up here. They have dominated the early play but, much like us, they have squandered opportunities. I hate to see teams play badly and still win.
Anyone else enjoy the "Persa picks the right hole" comment from the announcer or just me?
Another Navy TD! Dobbs runs it in.
MSU is just gashing Northwestern's defense with the straight ahead running game.
Serious question, does Dantonio leave if MSU wins 9-10 games? I've always thought he was a really solid coach, and I could see maybe Georgia looking at him. Thoughts?
I don't think UGA would look at him. It's a reach but I could see Tressel recomending him for OSU when he hangs it up. I also think Tressel's kid or brother is on MSU's staff. It make sense since he has his head half way up OSU's/Tressels ass.
The real younger coaching stars are at Boise and TCU, but no one's been able to pry them away. I don't think Muschamp is willing to leave Texas and Fitzgerald isn't leaving Northwestern. To me, those are the sexiest coaches who are not head coaches at traditional power programs.
The SEC typically wants to hire upcoming superstars like Meyer or established solid coaches. I can't think of many great coaches that might be available.
I could see Muschamp going home (UGA) if they call and the price is right, possibly Dan Mullen if he keeps it up. I could seeTCU's coaches going to UT once Mack retires due to the easy recruiting transition. PSU will have Jay or Bradley, or even Al Golden (sp?) (Temple). I was asking my Buckeye buddy who he thinks is taking over when Tressel retires and he swears Pelini is going to leave Nebraska and come home, I disagree but he thinks so.
Edit: BSU coach doesn't seem to want to go anywhere I thought I heard him say once that he going to be the JoPa of the west. He can stay out there as far as I'm concerned, I don't want him coaching in the Big Ten.
I guess I can't see anyone with a contract to be the next head coach at Texas walking away. I think it's the best job in the country.
Recruiting is easy, just offer the top 50 kids in state, the first 25 to sign wins.
Step 1. Offer 50 kids in state.
Step 2. Take vacation.
Step 3. Stop after 25 sign.
My understanding is Mack Brown basically does that. They call their top target at each position, and if he doesn't commit, they just move on. Then they leave 3-4 spots open and actively recruit only the kids they think are really special players.
Spartan Blueprint 2010 in full force
NW is 2/3 in the red zone
This is what MSU has done all season. Limit your damage, often outright denying it, in the red zone.
So much time in this game. Those missing points loom all over this game right now. MSU's offense will deliver a blow or two, we know that.
Jamie, be positive.
clearly the spread offense isnt working in the Big 10 right now.
Why can't they miss against Michigan?
Because they get the rivalry, man. If we had a countdown clock to MSU they would miss those against us too.
I would have laughed at you a few weeks ago, now I am wondering if we should be looking at digital or classic analog.
Unless it is a magical clock that will allow our secondary to time travel back from the future and be juniors and seniors, I don't think that is our primary problem.
Probably shoulda ran little giants there, ha wide right, Go Cats
This definitely has all the makings of a typical SPARTY FAIL.
Works every time
So far so good. Navy and Northwestern are both winning. Northwestern needs to cash in on this missed field goal. Persa looks really dangerous.
moving the pile. What I would give to be a fly on Mike Valenti's wall right now!
I will actually be able to listen to the Ticket again if this holds up! Hate that douche.
Moving the ball at will.....same old Spartans?
Robert Bolden hurt...?
Out for game with a concussion...
Matt McGloin is really bad.
I don't think he'll ever leave, but he's a great coach who would probably succeed anywhere.
Sparty's gonna have to show some true grit if they're coming back. That or NW will figure out a way to hand it to them.
Persa sneaks in for a TD! I haven't watched Northwestern at all this year. Persa has been very impressive so far in this game.
I've heard good things about Persa and caught a little bit of him on the B10 network a couple of weeks ago. The kid has shiftiness plus a decent arm - reminds me of Tate a bit from last year. He's a senior and probably would have played earlier in his career if Kafka hadn't been a pretty good QB himself. This offense also has quite a few upperclassmen on the 2-deep, which means they know the offense and how to perform.
One of the biggest differences between this game and the MSU games against Michigan and Illinois the last two weeks is that the Cats, even with a major red zone gaffe, have still be able to get multiple TDs on their consistent forays into scoring range.
What a great game so far
Dear Michigan State,
Welcome to life on the road in the Big Ten coupled with being a big game on the other team's schedule.
Lifelong Michigan fans everywhere
Come on Sparty. Screw this drive up somehow.
Shit, MSU touchdown. NW still up 17-7
What's Texas's problem? Down 14-3? It's Iowa State!
I think Texas falls somewhere between the Nebraska win and the 2 previous losses - a talented team but one that can shoot itself in the foot and lose to an inferior opponents.
If NW can even answer with a FG here that would be huge going into the half. Don't the Wildcats get the ball to start the 2nd half?
Yes, MSU went 3 and out to start the game.
beautiful job by the DB - textbook
21-10 Navy! ahahaha.
getting some love from the announcers as Syracuse has held West Virgina's offence in check
Pat Fitzgerald is a hell of a coach. There is very little talent on that team but they are sound.
42-0 OSU at the half! Yikes. Also, Purdue sucks.
...even though I'm "All In," RichRod should be ALL OUT.
End of line.
Over/Under on the number of times "Sparty No!!" will be said in this thread over the course of the second half. I'm setting the line at 4.
I'll take the over... WAY over.
I noticed he was out and PSU isn't exactly rolling. Hurt?
Sounds like hes out with concussion symptoms.
Guess that means he'll be back for next week.
Beating the heck out of Indiana right now. I'm worrying more about that one now.
Illinois is looking better and better with every week. We better bring the house against them.
Don't forget IU's starting RB is out. They rely on him just as much for his pass blocking as running.
Well, I guess we can count on beating Purdue...yikes OSU could get 80.
Here's the NWU that should've lost to Minny.
Cue Northwestern's implosion.
Crap. NW goes 3-and-out and MSU gets easy TD. NW had better score on this drive, or they could be in trouble.
Holding back Persa, and for them to get overwhelmed on all sides, and get slaughtered.
Is there an "Irish, Nnnoooooo!!!"?
I can't believe this. Northwestern has come out flat. At least Navy just picked off a pass.
and Kelly screaming his head off. Good for several lols.
How long will Kelly last at ND? I'll say 3 years.
He looked pretty douchy doing that. Horrible interception, but you don't see a lot of college coaches dropping that many F-bombs towards a player during a game.
I think he's going to be there for longer. He's a good coach and has a great track record. This is just year one, things will get better for them (unfortunately).
but this is ND we are talking about. They don't give coaches time. I also think his attitude REALLY turns off ND fans. Not sure how long it will be tolerated if ND doesn't have a good record to match.
Also, Kelly was handed some pretty good playmakers so the fans won't be any more patient than normal.
His defense Weis left him is really slow and he'll get a chance to fix that. But he did seem to have some players on offense. If he needs an understanding ear to have a beer with who get the issues with transitions, I'd recommend meeting up with guys who hang out on this blog.
Stay off the Notre Dame ones.
a reasonably deep defense with plenty of upperclassmen and a star at the most important position (Teo). I'd say the defense has slightly underperformed.
The problem is that Kelly is an offensive guy and their offense has REALLY underperformed with all their talent. *I* realize he should be given time to install the system and improve, but do Notre Dame fans/administration? History says no.
Not sure about how long Kelly will be there. It is funny to watch when Kelly goes all Bobby Knight. I also agree that his attitude may not sit well with some ND fans or alums. Navy is totally imposing their will on the ND defense. This thing could get ugly.
If teams keep imploding against MSU, does that mean MSU is good? They never do anything very impressive, but they keep winning. I don't know what to make of it.
Shirtless guy dressed as a Spartan with a nipple ring. He thinks it's cool...I think he's a tool.
I saw that guy and I couldn't help thinking to myself, "who does that?"
Only a Spartan doucher...
Didn't he have TWO nipple rings?
Sounds like Bolden has a concussion.
3 injuries in like 2 plays for ND?! They're falling apart too.
anyone got a stream for the wifeday game? I'd even settle for audio at this point...
i thought it'd be funny to start a new thread looking for the stream but then i figured i'd get banned.
Persavered. OK, finish your beer for that one
But getting waxed by Navy?
Still, you have to love their "stick it in stick it in stick it in!!" chant.
ND getting slaughtered. 35-10 Navy.
by Persa on that run. Looks like Northwestern is gaining momentum again.
Notre Dame is looking at 6-6 again this season with Utah and USC still on their schedule. Lol @ golden domers...
Persa is one tough SOB. I'm impressed.
But good decision on that keeper by Persa. Had loss written all over it. And sets up "whew" TD.
Another great run by Persa.
Persa looking good.
BOOM BABY! Damn Persa has some jangles. What a run!
Man this kid is fun to watch, tough guy who knows how to get to the sticks. Go Cats
I had to step out for awhile
But have we talked about how many yards of offense would Persa put up against Michigan?
O/U 500, right?
Sparty NO! for that third and nine draw play the ran with Nichols when Cousins was having his way throwing the ball. Gave all the momentum back to NW.
I didn't understand that call at all. Northwestern's secondary was confused with the trips on the near side and thankfully MSU called that dumb draw.
We don't play NW at this point? It sucks not playing the Gophers, but I'm not sure I'd trade any of our next 3 games for the Wildcats. I'm not even sure they're that great this year, but I just see that offense giving us fits.
Persa's QB instincts + Denard's athletic ability= unstoppable. When the passing play breaks down, I wish Denard would just run it
Hopefully Denard will start to do that later this year. He's basically had actual coaching for 14 months, so he's still growing.
On a more general note, remember when Michigan played lots of upperclassman? That was nice.
I'm in shock that Syracuse is fielding a competitive team again. They are up right now against WVU 19-14 in the 3rd.
I'm not sure if I should be sad about the Syracuse upgrade or happy about the WV downgrade.
If this isn't a one year uptick for the Cuse, and they are on the road to long term improvement, I wonder if Jim Delany would want to scratch the expansion itch again.
To find someone else too. They can't be going back to odd teams.
Oooo weee what up with that? what with that?
Too much cushion there on 3rd and 7.
Northwestern's tackling is something our guys should aspire to. They fly to the ball and wrap up. Just a very well-coached squad. If the Cats could attract better talent, they'd be a powerhouse.
Not sure if anyone is watching this, but Minny has over 300 yards halfway through the 3rd quarter, Kevin Newsome getting some playing time as Bolden went out with a concussion.
There have been times today where the Gophers look like the have the best offense of all the teams playing during these noon games. Weird
Because it's not on in the Michigan/Comcast area. So keep us in the know.
I am drooling now. This is a very good thing...
People were calling this a trap game like MSU was some menace that could only beat themselves. This quarterback gives Northwestern a heck of a shot against most any team. They are State's equal any day no matter the level of focus.
Normally a State game puts me to sleep, but this guy is a fun exciting player.
Does anyone agree that, other than 2005, Mack Brown has consideribly underachieved?? This pertaining to the "great" recruiting classes he brings in.
Blown away that MSU was last in the conference in 3rd down conversion considering how good that RB stable is and how competent Cousins is at QB. They really do seem like one of those teams that wins early on in spite of their deficiencies, then get caught in the 2nd half as the pendulum swings back to normality. Somewhat like Iowa last year, though Iowa was a better team.
That stat almost has to be wrong when you first hear it.
But we saw how it killed them early in this game. Missed a pair of third and shorts. Somehow. Too bad they didnt have Vinnie Smith, right? And Cousins missed badly on his first third and makeable attempt in the passing game. Those stops gave the Cats offense a chance to roll up this lead.
Even right here, they failed on third down, causing a key fourth down decision and time out.
Is Texas reminding anyone of a down Michigan season? Having a bad year, but still gets up to pull the upset in a rival game? They could be having their Mich 2005 season, with Nebraska = Penn State.
Dantonio punting here?
Come on Northwestern. You gotta be kidding me
wow, even the announcers saw it coming.
unbelievable play call. and now a td.
Unbelievable play call? The whole world saw that coming except for one stupid player. Northwestern must have the most stupid smart people in the world.
Calling a fake punt there IN GENERAL is a terrible call! A team's odds of getting a first down are much greater with running a traditional play instead of running a fake punt in the opposing teams territory on 4th and 10 when the ENTIRE STADIUM knows that a fake is coming. It makes me sick to see a coach actually get rewarded for such an idiotic call.
Are you kidding me?
not see that coming? Christ.
And you still let them complete that?!?
How do you allow that to happen. Awful.
Funny the announcers were calling it, Fitzgerald seemed to notice it, everyone was ready for the fake and it still happened. Good for Sparty, I guess.
WOW, MSU is pwning the special teams trick play this season.
Shit. NW needs to come through here.
How the fuck did everybody in the stadium know that was going to be fake, and they still complete it on 4th-and-11?
I had to turn on my comp and come to MGOBLOG to bitch.
WTF? Are we the only ones who scream FAKE when they punt from the offensive 35 yard line?
Just knew it
NWU deserves to lose simply b/c of that. I mean WTF?
Was so damn ugly...
Luck o' the Sparties again....Damn
That ones on Mabin completely. He cheated up on the punt (for what reason I don't know; it would seem he'd want to stay on his man regardless). Ugh.
and still it worked, even with a duck wobbler of a throw. ugh.
the real danger of the play: second heart attack for coach D
It'll be interesting to see if the Wildcats can man up right here and put it away.
Will be interesting to see how NW responds here. Persa has shown no fear, and MSU has done little to slow him down.
Yeah, the coaches obviously were playing for the fake. Players just didn't execute.
Like I said before, I hate seeing teams play like crap and win. MSU has looked like garbage for about 40 out of the first 45 minutes of this game, and they are only down 3?
They lose this game. Maybe just out of the shame of falling for that. ND was one thing. Trick me once...trick me twice...
Lost his jockstrap
I thoroughly enjoyed that too
Iowa St. has NEVER beaten Texas? Wow.
They have only played each other 7 times.
Even though NW had the deep throw open, a first down would be just fine. And as I write this, they get one. That and Persa just caused Jones to drop his jock on the field. Nice.
Watching Persa run like that makes me think Denard was way more banged up that anyone was letting on.
My favorite player to watch who doesn't wear a winged helmet.
Till next year, anyway.
needs some liveblog goodness - it is too slow to reload all the time.
It's like the Haloscan days in super slo mo.
can ND be this bad? are they recruiting services that wrong on so many players? or is the Navy offense that hard to stop?
Come on Northwestern D. Now would be the time for a big stop.
win any games this season? They have already allowed 7 sacks to a pretty forgettable MSU DLine.
Iowa St. up 28-6!
Not looking good for the Longhorns.
Edit: I was beaten to the punch.
I hate to say it, but this feels like a game MSU will pull out - it has just been that type of year for them. They have no business being within 10 points of NW right now, but ah crap...I'm just angry.
MSU will probably end up winning by 1. Iowa better beat the shit out of them.
This has 1 point MSU win written all over it. Take the points I guess.
That blows my mind. What world were we living in when ND and Sparty were #'s 1 and 2 and played to a 10-10 tie and shared a national title. How hard was overtime to figure out?
To remember ties? Sigh.
thank you ump. well played.
Come on Cats, just put some points on the board with this field position.
NWU has got to ice this game. Even a FG could do it.
Should only need a FG. Hopefully...
I think announcers a way wrong about needing to slow this game down.
I agree :-)
Way too much time left, have to keep throwing it. I don't get why the announcers are even discussing it.
I have to go out to dinner and then an apple orchard/corn maze with a couple Sparties tonight. If the Cats win I would be in heaven.
Did anyone watch that Texas game? What the hell happened?
not to lose play calling right there.
Too bad NW's linemen don't care to block potential tacklers.
But the announcers are crazy talking about running the clock. There's 7 minutes left. SCORE.
The Sparty knob slobbing will be sooooooo horrible if they drive it all the way for a TD.
Kinda wanna see Sparty get burned on a fake FG someday soon. Not this time.
Finally MSU gets burned on their play fakes that take forever to develop.
Double post due to anger of long completion.
NOT the key play
It amazes me how after a holding penalty or a sack when MSU is facing 15+ yards to go that NW gives them that 13-18 yard "underneath" route every freaking time.
sooooooooo damn close!!!!
You can't run zone.
Yup, they're gonna win this...
It might take a FG with the wind for NW to win this one.
This is an epic finish.
gotta be kidding me.
At least of this was our D MSU would've scored a lot earlier and there'd be more time to win on the final possession.
That is all.
Well, now NW really needs that FG.
State is so freaking lucky. That fumble bounced right to their guy, then they get that tip.
I hate sparty with all my heart. Ready for an epic NW 2 min drill! Let's GO!
2 minutes. Somewhere, joeyb is approving of this 2 minute drill.
plenty of time and with the wind
All the Wildcats need is a field goal. I'm okay
all that db had to do was jump. Maybe they scored to quickly though. I hope so.
That was a very very very bad hold on the play before the td. Egregious that they don't call that shit
Lots of holding by State on that drive. What a joke.
The Fates have already spoken. This is MSU's year. No way NWU scores. Shit.
I hate agreeing with you :(
I hate saying it
I guess this is just their year - luck just seems to be with them on all of the close plays/games. Ugh.
This concept about luck this and luck that. When you are down 17 on the road, you don't win by luck. I know UM fans hate to admit it, but MSU is actually talented and pretty well coached.
And this is the first place you go?
I went to the RCMB, but it sounds like we won the national championship from the way people are reacting over there.
Give you a chance to play for it, it's not that crazy. And that must have been a quick look and reading of this thread since the game just ended.
I'd have had more respect if you had been around when they were down big, too...
God your logic is so irrefutable. Is this what it's like over there?
A: *emphatic statement with no evidence*
B: *statement backed up by unrelated evidence and something resembling but not actually logic*
The Masses: "A IS WINNARRRR, LET'S GO RIOT"
On a side note: I know you were digging deep into your vocabulary, but the posts here about how lucky Sparty was in that game are not concepts, for the love of God. How do you function in society?
Pers needs to run OB on the NW sidelines so he gets a ticky tack late hit.
Don't like that play call.
2nd call was what shoulda been the 1st down.
This MSU team is 01 Illini, 00 Purdue and 07 Illini all rolled into one.....have no business doing what they are doing right now. An average to above average team who is gonna get curb stomped when they face an elite team.
I'm so there with you. My Sparty friends call it sour grapes, but I can see the fear of the inevitable bowl beat down their eyes.
I don't know if you can call any four-and-long call (fake or not) completed a bad call. This is the big ten and if michigan's 0-2 record doesn't hint at it this is a pretty good conference... truth is any road game is a tough test. Msu executed at the right time and were just unpredictable enough to be successfull at the right time as an offenses --> and that is a large part of college football. As far as any "impending bowl losses"... I personally don't believe MSU is consistently a top 5 team, however, given recent years' parody in college football, I believe that MSU has the talent, organization, leadership to make a run (as does about 25 other teams really). They have used what they have to go 8-0 while beating some pretty damn good opponents along the way. Overall, if a better team bets 'em, so what? I know that state has been playing their ass off! But the haters will always be there
given recent years' parody in college football
While some might argue that the BCS is indeed comical, I'm not quite sure what that has to do with this.
We'll all need hugs from Lloyd Brady if Sparty doesn't implode on this last drive. Frankly, I'm not in a hugging mood.....FYS
Too much grit on that one.
all 4th quarter
We don't have to crown Pat Fitzgerald king of anything.
Lots of open receivers on that last drive, and Persa wasn't close to any of them
Wow. Ok I'm done.
This is what happens when you're stuck rooting for another team...
I've found rooting for NW much more comforting than Michigan. You have the comfort knowing that the secondary doesn't completely explode all game. I hate MSU tho. I would give us a loss to MSU if they lost every other game.
02 Ohio State = 10 Spartans? Winning games by close margins, but nonetheless winning.
Well, in other news, I'm sure West Virginia is glad they're not stuck with RichRod's terrible coaching anymore.
So MSU is officially the luckiest team this year? Awful fake punt call completed, NW fumbles at the 1 on 1st n goal, NW QB can't hit wide open receievers. Pathetic hearing the accolades given to this team.
That give NW a chance to win.
I'm actually ok with that score.
On the game? ;-)
1 minute, 8 points.
Epic fail. Shockingly, still a chance.
this games not over, and northwestern has a ton of time left.
that is potentially a huge mistake by baker.
The irony here is that the only way MSU could lose was to score there. Now NW has a slim chance.
Maurice Jones Drew there
1 min left down 1 score?
implode again! He must be hurt or something.
called that shit
There's always Iowa.
Persa got his chance and blew it twice. Jeez....
The most epic, of epically epic fails.
Another awful pass. Trying to overcompensate for the previous overthrows? MSU gets another gave given to them.
from the Lloyd Carr sideline interview playbook?
His cutesy names for his fakes.
And that they work.
Crap. I gotta get stuff done, and now here comes Iowa v. WI. Decisions, decisions....
MSU should be having a good season. They have tons of veterans, many seniors, 4th year of the current program and a soft schedule.
Give them credit for taking care of business coming from down 17 against a good team.
Still like Michigan's future way way more.
Well, true, I guess. Michigan will be Michigan, but the only future for Sparty is that they will still be stinky, icky Sparty.
I don't know if it was as much of MSU taking care of business as it was Northwestern handing them the game.
but I get GT on Espn. Ugh...
MSU is the worst 8-0 team ever. Also, the dumbest team ever. Even after they get the pick to seal the game, the idiot LB tries to run it back, risking a fumble. This after keeping the game alive with the late TD. Stupid and mediocre teams should not win the Big 10.
I am beginning to wonder if God is falling for Dantonio's "gotta go pray" bullshit the same way that the media have.
holy shit, texas is only down 28-21. 3:15 left.
