EA Sports NCAA Football 2015-16 rosters?

Submitted by KennyGfanLMAO on

Does anyone know of a downloadable roster for next season? I've looked online and have found nothing. Sorry if this isn't threadworthy. I figured a lot of the posters on here play the video game regularly and would know where I could find a new roster. Thanks!

Guys over on Operation Sports do rosters. They're probably being created right now, but they will definitely have them.

I haven't done this in a couple years, but here's the gist of it.

2. Once the roster is completed, you can either...
---- a) Download the roster from that site and save it to a USB drive.
---- b) They'll post the name of someone's "locker." You type this in somewhere under NCAA's settings (in-game) and you can download the roster directly.

If going the USB route...
3. Plug the USB into your PS3.
4. Find the USB in the PS3 menu; it will be next to the folder of your saved game files.
5. Find the roster file in the USB folder, and click triangle (or whatever it is) to copy the file to your PS3.
6. Go into NCAA's settings and select the roster.

There is a YouTube video that explains how to download and install the rosters. The user ID that the video gives dos not giver the best 2014 roster. Search a few and see what works best. Whole process takes a few minutes. You should be able to download the roster right in the game and not need to worry about the usb connection. I just updated to 2014 a few weeks ago

Operation Sports will definitely have one. I downloaded one last year from them in the summer and it worked fine. Dynasty isn't as much fun with not having the actual schedules/dates, but you can only do so much.

Thanks for nothing, Sam Keller.

I know nobody can WRT licensing, etc. Yet, EA hasn't made a good football game since they started with their universal sports engine last gen. The engine is just not a good one for football games no matter how much they try to polish that turd. The last playable NCAA was 2 gens ago, IMO. HOWEVER, some company could and should pick up the game under the old 16bit EA/Bill Walsh mantle of calling it "College Football". Make the game an editors paradise so they can call The University of Michigan "Ann Arbor" or the like & the community can fix it. Make the Stadium look just like it but not identical to The Big House & don't make ANY player a likenesses in any way to Michigan players. It will be easier on the developers, in fact! Do this for all schools & trust the fervent community to edit it all correctly. ND would be "South Bend", osu "Columbus", etc. That way they'd knock out the schools in no time and be able to make a great playing GAME with most of the time/budget, something not seen since 2010 or later on PS2. Trust the community to edit. That way nobody is at fault for anything. You'd just have to make EVERYTHING customizable/editable. Everything. Uniforms, players, school names, rivalries, conference names, etc. Finally, have the commentary voice actors say & use software to recognize common words for & in their delivery. "What a run by..Isaac", The LB corp is led by All-American..Bolden", "Today's game is between heated rivals...Michigan & ...Ohio State, Welcome to...Michigan Stadium", etc. Editing would be done with a passion! Guaranteed. Someone could easily make a CFB game like this as it makes too much sense, would be easy to make not having to get the rosters/ratings/stadiums exactly perfect as possible and it would MAKE A TON OF CASH! You'd have a monopoly on a game about a sport that is beloved. I don't get why these devs with these powerful systems have less features/imagination than their 16bit predecessors, let alone a PS2 with it's whopping 32mb (64?) of RAM, 300mhz processor, The "Emotion Engine", etc. Heck, the 360/PS3 took 3 years for a football game that was playable, ffs! Remember the menu speed & lack of basic features like camera angles in the first few football games last gen?!? The football didn't even rotate more than once when you the the ball until NCAA 12! I was so sad to see EA stuck with the same basic engine this gen. It's good for soccer & hockey but that's it. No matter what they do the football players run like robots with eggs up their butt, the game plays you more than you play it, model animation is trash....I could keep ranting but won't. You're welcome for stopping & sorry for the wall o' text.

Sorry not sure how you put up a link unless that is how lol.  These guys have good rosters.  They are working on this years rosters right now and are actually quite far along.  Alot of the rosters from last year made the game freeze.  Bcuz they modded players by giving them beanie caps and it messed up the game sometimes.

They still have everything running for the game.  You can still use Ultimate Team and Online Dynasty.  Everything works.  Its a group of people that continue to do work with the rosters and stuff that keep the game going forward in a way.  They even made a way to make a playoff system in the game.  It just takes a little computer know how and you have to download some programs.  Plus they have step by step directions on how to do it all.  I wish EA would release a patch for the playoffs on its own that would be awesome!

I can only find 2014-15 rosters. It may still be a little early. I think I read those guys like to see the spring game 2 deep before they waste time putting in the wrong guys. Sometimes they wait until August so they have the right true freshman as well.
