"He's a hard worker, and he watched me and Tim (Hardaway Jr.) and Nik (Stauksas) put work in to become (first-round picks), and I'm just happy he's getting better," Burke said. "It's great for the program, too. It shows what type of program the University of Michigan is and the direction it continues to go in."
E 60: Glory to God 1% on ESPNU
Thanks for stirring the bad memories.
is it bad that what immediately popped into my head was Kordell Stewart?
I thought this was about the Hail Mary against Colorado. They could have picked a better title for it.
Me too. Glad I didn't pull the trigger of the gun I had placed in my mouth. Whew.
I've had lots of practice aiming for my midbrain and/or pons thanks to, well, many events that have happened save 11-2 since I started following in 2008.
I thought it was about the great comeback against Wisky, RRs first year.
NICE! Wish I could watch but being deployed in the Middle East doesn't allow for much leisure time.
allahu akbar & Semper Fi. Stay safe.....
Will it be re-shown later? I see on my DirecTV program guide that E:60 repeats at 2am tonight but no description of that episode's content.
are on this site.
If you aren't smart enough to see what you did wrong........
If he knew what he did wrong, do you think he would care if he got negged, no need to insult his intelligence.
I served over in the gulf and heard shouts and chants of Allahu Akbar all the time. If you don't know what sarcasm is, I feel bad for you. It's a common phrase we Marines would say to each other just to laugh during tough situations.
This is the internet. There is no way to know your history or your intent. That's why we use the /s.
Thank you for putting your butt on the line for us back home. It's a rough, nasty world out there.
However, one man's "Allahu Akbar" is another's "Glory be to God."
I didn't neg you, but I've been deployed to the middle east as well, and I personally do not condone making fun of someone else's beliefs (not saying that is what you were doing, but it at least sounds close to it), and if I were you, I would definitely keep that to myself in the future if in mixed company.
of someone's beliefs but it has been my experience that when someone shouts that phrase, it's followed by rpg fire or rounds commin down range. I do understand your point tho
situations where you actually have to experience it to understand. Must bust.
That's typically how inside jokes work.
of Allahu Akbar as offensive but made no assessment of the Semper Fi and stay safe. Your point is moot when you only look at part of the statement.
It can be a tough audience here, but nothing like what you've encountered in the real world elsewhere. Those who stay....
Fuck you. Have a nice day. How's it going? Oh dont worry about the f u part. look I was just trying to explain why some might downvote you. It'll be ok.
u must have some sand in your clit to get that riled up. And I was just explaining my reaction to your smartass comments. I know it'll be OK. But not because of peolple like you
The only sand I got in my crack was from ft irwin. You can't possibly expect for people to know your inside joke with your boys. I stand corrected.
I don't mean to be rude, but you're not making effective use of the correct reply button...
nothing good will come from further back-and-forth.
The real enemies are to the north and to the south, if you know what I mean.
Alluhah Akbar, Semper Fi, and Go Blue.
to the south (Ohio)--- I understand.
But to the north (Yoopers? Ontario? Canada?)---you'll have to clarify for me, Don.
Marine. You can say anything you want brother. Navy here. Out.
Brock walking out before the UConn game, was probably the best moment of the Rich Rod era. I cried during that moment, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.
