DVR reminder: Brock Mealer on Fox and Friends Friday morning
Sharing this from the Barwis Methods Facebook page. Thought you might appreciate. Tune in or set your DVR's! Brock Mealer and his soon-to-be bride Haley will be appearing LIVE on Fox & Friends on the Fox News Channel this Friday at 7:20 a.m.! That is all. Have a good day MGoFam *iphone crap formatting. Apologies for that.
[PGB: Thread locked and comments hidden. People couldn't just say "thanks for the reminder" in the comments - had to breach the "politics" of Fox News right up front and ruin the comment section for the rest of us.]

Ugh.....no politics, I know, but Fox and Friends? Count me out, unless its the SNL version. Outside of that, glad to see Brock get some attention.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:00 AM ^
I hope someone posts a link to the video.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:06 AM ^
So now news is considered "politics"? What a miserable world some people must live in...
December 5th, 2012 at 12:13 PM ^
is not news.
Just Saying...
December 5th, 2012 at 1:48 PM ^
Brock Mealer's story is inspiring and you should be ashamed for not being interested/complaining due to what channel it is being told on.
December 5th, 2012 at 2:27 PM ^
And making your comment certainly breaks the "no politics" rule. Just saying...
December 5th, 2012 at 3:44 PM ^
Doesn't matter if it is on Fox or MSNBC. What Mealer has done with the help of Barwis is nothing short of incredible and I fail to see how the fact that its on Fox matters one bit.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:25 AM ^
I'm not asking anyone to agree or disagree with Fox's political coverage as that wasn't the point of the post. If anything your post is the political one by bringing it up. I'm just informing my fellow MGo'ers of Brock and his bride being on tv and sharing their story.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:27 AM ^
I read that not as him accusing you of being political, but prefacing his stated dislike of that show with a "sorry that this comment borders on politics" disclaimer.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:28 AM ^
I read his post as being unnecessary in this thread.
December 5th, 2012 at 11:07 AM ^
"If anything your post is the political one by bringing it up."
Exactly.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:30 AM ^
Unless it's on my version of politics' newscast I will not enjoy a local inspiration and his story, and be happy for Brock and his future wife. I'm taking a stand politically, because I don't want it to be political !... Anyway, Gretchen is smok'n. Hopefully you'll watch Brock if he gets on the view or Jerry Springer.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:46 AM ^
Gretchen is the more masculine of the 3 'Friends' as well. /s/jk
I'm with you on the who cares what channel it's on, a good story is a good story.
Now only if Alex Jones can get Brock on the air. Hey ma, where's my tinfoil?

I was really hoping that people would be able to control themselves and leave Fox News out of it, but thank you for ruining that. Your comment basically yells, "HEY I'M LIBERAL!". Not cool for this board.
December 5th, 2012 at 3:40 PM ^
Yeah, how the first reply post in this thread is not a blatant violation of the "no politics" rule is beyond me. If this doesn't violate the rule, why even pretend to have the rule?

My jack Russell whines when the fox and friends jingle plays. She also whines during the intro to two and a half men. I would say she's smarter than 70% of America.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:30 AM ^
If she's heard the F&F and 2.5 Men jingles enough times to know to react to them, that says bad things about someone's TV watching habit.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:53 AM ^
I live with a conservative so she hears that in the morning and I when I get home from work two and a half men is just ending before seinfeld.
I am not who you say I am Damnit!
December 5th, 2012 at 11:37 AM ^
In your defense, Two and a Half Men seems like it is in syndication on every channel all of the time. Well, so is Seinfeld, but that's alright by me.

The dog finds those shows for itself?
December 5th, 2012 at 12:25 PM ^
Clearly the dog is the "pull-myself-up-by-my-bootstraps" type
December 5th, 2012 at 10:14 AM ^
Why do people say, "I'm going to DVR that?"
It's, "I'm going to record that."
December 5th, 2012 at 10:15 AM ^
The majority of fox news is entertainment masquerading as analysis and news. Just as msnbc is.
Fox and friends is definitely entertainment.
Edit: this was supposed to be a reply to mr. Beeks.
December 5th, 2012 at 11:04 AM ^
Wait. You're telling me that a major cable news network has a morning show that runs feel good stories instead of pure news coverage? I'm shocked.

December 5th, 2012 at 11:05 AM ^
Of course it is. Just like every other "morning show" (e.g. Today, Good Morning America, etc).
December 5th, 2012 at 11:23 AM ^
That's why I stay with Nick Jr. Ni Ho Kai Lan and Oswald plus coffee start my day off just right.
December 5th, 2012 at 10:34 AM ^
The person who posts the video here on the blog will earn my appreciation and my up-vote (which can be redeemed at any local cannery for the fish of your choice).
December 5th, 2012 at 10:34 AM ^
that channel off my television and forgot the password to unlock.
December 5th, 2012 at 11:34 AM ^
Awww, hell. On fox news??? Well screw Brock Mealer then. At least thats the impression I'm getting from all y'all.
December 5th, 2012 at 12:34 PM ^
Much happiness for the Mealers!!
btw, did Paul Bunyan have a wife of just that Blue Ox?
December 5th, 2012 at 2:08 PM ^
to drop a Dooce in the middle of a thread.
December 5th, 2012 at 1:28 PM ^
Could be better to just leave the OP up and lock the comments. There isn't anything policitcal yet, but we're tiptoing the line and I prefer the petty arguments that I read MGoBlog to be about the QB position.
December 5th, 2012 at 1:48 PM ^
I hear hes a lock, now that we have started talking to him again.
Also, thank you Brown Bear, DVR is set.
December 5th, 2012 at 2:04 PM ^
Thanks for the reminder!
As far as the complaining about Fox and Friends, this thread strengthens my belief this nation is a bunch of nancies that only want to hear views they agree with. I cannot stand the beliefs and views of Fox and Friends, but I will listen to their points.
December 5th, 2012 at 2:25 PM ^
7:20AM is too early for me, but I'm sure there will be a clip somewhere. I don't watch the channel for various reasons, but it still wouldn't stop me from if I was awake. It's an inspirational, non-political story.
