Duron Carter ineligible
Seems that Chris Carters son Duron will be watching the Rose Bowl with Dad in an ESPN studio. I hope Bob and Brian Griese stop by and introduce themselves.

Good title.

I thought so but apparently not? Can a mod or someone take a moment to explain why my title was inappropriate? I appreciate your patience and restraint. rough crowd

it was a great title in fact everything in the post is completely relevant to Duron Carter being ineligabl.

title was a hypocritical cheapshot and has cost OP 100 points.

I hate to say this for fear of the ban-hammer, but I compulsively down-vote you. It must be a complex...
December 17th, 2009 at 7:53 PM ^
Even though some may refer to him as Dear Leader, expressing your thoughts will not bring the ban hammer...

Um, did I miss something?

Maybe TMZ has the scoop.

post the original title, but I don't have 100 mgopoints to lose. I just couldn't stand being in the negative.
Let's just say it wasn't very nice to his dad...

"I find Duron Carter's academic troubles to be newsworthy, and wish to share this information with MGoBoard to ensure that you shall all be informed"
...More or less

Is that from the episode when Brian checks into drug rehab and Peter comes along and attempts to give a false name to the workers at lunch? Then he trades a baggie of baking soda or something to a patient for a cupcake.
December 17th, 2009 at 9:16 PM ^
Yes, yes and yes just to be sure.
Don't forget that he also sneaks in a sixer and proceeds to drink it in front of Brian when they share the same room. They also sneak out at night and row across the lake to the pregnant girls' camp and put all their hands in warm water. As they leave, all you hear are popping noises and babies starting to cry.

I remember now. Love it. I like the one where Stewie teleports the Star Trek crew to the house and they're real whiny.

Sorry, horrible quality.
Lavar Burton: "Can I take this f@*#king headband off?"
Stewie: "No Lavar you're blind. That's the only way you can see"
Kills me every time.

Damn. I have to know how far he took it. If he had 100 points taken away it must've been pretty bad.
December 19th, 2009 at 10:34 PM ^
Brian only took 75 points from Ted Kaczynski for the letterbomb but you call Chris Carter a DUNCE and that gets you the century mark right there.

He referred to the type of cap that Duron and his daddy wear, I believe Thomas Edison once wore the same cap, so there!
December 17th, 2009 at 8:09 PM ^
Essentially he said "like father like son they are both stupid haha"
December 17th, 2009 at 7:50 PM ^
How lazy or stupid do you have to be to be academically ineligible at Ohio State?

I can actually understand a freshman struggling a bit - the shock of a courseload, even at OSU, could screw up a young kid. But how does a senior (Rose) not figure out how to keep his grades up enough to play? That is what always amazes me when kids are deemed academically ineligible as upperclassmen - you've been in the school long enough to know what needs to be done to maintain eligibility. Screwing that up, even with all of the checks and balances that exist, is incredible.

A lot of players don't bother going to class their last semester of eligibility. Actually, I seem to remember it happening a lot under Bill Frieder and Steve Fisher.
I can't imagine it happening now under RR, but I sure can imagine it happening under the evil sweater-vest.
December 18th, 2009 at 7:57 PM ^
Per the Columbus Dispatch, Rose is eligible.
