This is not really new news -- but AP and ESPN reporting that tSIO will release its response to Tresselgate tomorrow:
This response, according to the articles, is LIKELY to contain self-imposed penalties. Could include bowl bans, no appearance in Indy for B1G Title, etc.
So... of course I sit around all day asking how this affects UM recruiting. Hell, I see it's going to rain, I ask how that affects UM recruiting.
Does this move up Dunn's timetable? He is "still" committed to tSIO, but wanted to see what penalties tSIO would get. We all thought that meant late October or so, when the official NCAA ruling comes out (after August hearing). But, tSIO's letter tomorrow will include self-imposed penalties that certainly will be the least of which the NCAA will order. Thus, if here is a 2-year bowl ban, for instance, Dunn's going to know the minimum of how bad it will be.
Consequently -- maybe a formal Dunn de-commitment is in the off'ing in the near future, hence we can all keep jamming the F5 even more often.
