landing spot. will be interesting to see how he does.
hear Dukey V basically give Ohio the game tomorrow? What a joke!
I didn't really hear him say that, he also said we have the best back court in the country.
He said that to give Louisville love and the #1 rank. Sounds like we would slide.
We're now the only undefeated team left.
GO BLUE BEAT OHIO
Tomorrows game in the biggest for Michigan basketball in what, 15 years? We've come a long way. Go Blue, BEAT OHIO!
NOTHING. It's about championships, not rankings!
Helps perception of the program, increases hype and exposure, may have some influence on recruits and revenue (sales).
You actually think that if we move up just one spot, one little 'ole measily spot, that revenues will increase?
Dave Brandon might agree with you and he certainly hopes its true, but increased revenue will only come after a long season and a Final Four showing.
If being ranked #1 means nothing, why do I want it soooooo bad??
beating OSU will be even sweeter tomorrow
When was the last time we were ranked #1 in a non-forfeited season? 1985?
At the end of the year when it mattered most.
Oh yeah. Derp moment by me.
pitt in overtime!!!!!
From being #1!
I'm hairless nuts away from being either a metrosexual body-groomer or prepubescent.
So you're saying you'd give your left but for a UM victory and #1 ranking?
Left nut, that is. Damn auto correct.
Big opportunity tomorrow!
I don't think you know how the Internet works.
what the above poster needs to do is upload to a picture sharing website (Facebook, Photobucket, Tinypic, ect.) and then drag into the posting box. Hopefully that helps him understand how the internet works.
stuff. I had to chuckle about this. And to think he tried it three times, only to fail. Then he didnt go back and delete the post. Some people.......
You're linking to file on your own computer. That's not gonna work, buddy.
I like how the third time, it's not bold
As if they needed more motivation. Game tomorrow should be great!
Before today, Massey had the projected probability of an NC State win at a whopping 12%, and this in concert with NC State not only winning but doing so by 8 points put the likelihood of that winning margin for NC State (score regardless for the moment) at around 0.44% by their model.
My sister's husband is a Wolf Pack alum - I tried to call him earlier, but my sister answered and all I heard in the background was, "Where's your Christian Laettner now?". I said I would call back later.
It's a great feeling to be able to claim exactly zero losses halfway into the regular season. Also, BEAT OHIO.
This made me laugh
NC State took down the Dookies and K-State eked out a win over W Virginia. These wins are looking better and better every day. If K-State can win the next two, they should be a top 15 or so team by the time they play Kansas on 1/22.
Unfortunately, Pitt lost again, this time to Marquette in OT.
There is no eking out a win.
