after a very successful berry picking expedition in the north part of the forest. quarts of gooseberries, some raspberries but past prime on those.

genus is 'rubus', true wild blackberries. i just had never seen any this large.

Got an optical digital cable I needed in the mail, I now have the ability to wirelessly stream music to my receiver and when it's on YouTube I can watch the video while it's playing through my speakers by going Device -> Chromecast -> TV -> Receiver. So my whole night will probably center around this newfound wizardry, which in all seriousness is pretty cool.
Drinking random stuff from the ten for ten section at Kroger like PBR, Bud Lite Lime, ect.

For tonight, I've actually decided to tune into one of my favorite films - "The Great Escape" - and sit here with the laptop and some Guinness. Today was my son's 6th birthday and my father's 71st, so we had some celebratory toasts involved there as well.
