It's a good thing we have solid RB depth, but you never like for these injuries to happen.

It, she saw the tests they were doing on the field and told me he was one for the year as she walked by. She needs to watch more games, she knew countess was done last year also. She is a doctor but I hate asking her or an opinion during the game, it's never good.

According to ESPN, UGA head football coach Mark Richt confirmed Mitchell hurt his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) while celebrating Todd Gurley's 75-yard touchdown run.

At least Drake's was a football injury...

Obviously, you never wish this on a kid, but I was/am surprised that he was #2 on the depth chart. I get the feeling he was sort of there by default because he seems like a smart kid who can run the plays correctly. But he's not particularly fast or strong or shifty. He'll get what the offensive line creates - nothing more, nothing less. I think he was likely to drop down the depth chart as the year went along and Green/Smith/Rawls stepped it up, but I guess we'll have to wait another year or so to see how good he can be.

Hopefully he recovers quickly. Countess tore his ACL in last year's spring opener and was ready by the summer, so you never know...Johnson might be good to go for spring ball.
