So if Michigan doesn't belong...then who belonged in the tournament instead of Tennessee? And what about Michigan State, who had a worse record and whom Michigan beat twice?

I also caught Gottlieb and Hubert Davis on Mike & Mike this morning. Gottlieb gets done talking about how the upsets are in the early games because the guys in the late games watch the early games in their hotel rooms. This scares them into (all of a sudden) taking their opponent seriously. Then Davis comes on, Greenberg asks him about Gottlieb's take. Davis is like, no man, no way. We didn't watch any early games. We didn't need anyone else to motivate us. HILARIOUS.
Gottlieb is worthless.
Gottlieb tweeted an hour later: "Michigan belonged long before today, UAB did not belong b4 they were blown out."
His other comment was not meant to say we didn't belong in, just that a blowout win does not prove we nenver should have been a bubble team or should have been a higher seed. You get into the tournament based off resume, results in the tournement do not legitimize your spot or show you should have been higher.
My guess is he was perhaps responding to fans arguing we deserved a better seed based off that result, in which case he's right in saying performance does not prove where you should have been. Although he did say it kinda poorly.
and his ESPN cronies gave us very little chance in this game. Now they fall back on the hoopla surrounding Pearl as an excuse. In reality Beilien owns bad coaches and that's exactly what happened today.
I heard that scumbag on ESPn a few weeks ago slamming a kid for getting arrested and that f*ck face stole credit cards and ran up giant bills on them! Go f8ck yourself Gottlieb

I loved when his cell phone went off on live television. He says that about Michigan and doesn't expect us to get upset. Then to assure himself that he's a super cool guy and a winner, he retweets OSU fans sucking up to him.

I'm a Spartan fan and can't stand that douche either. I googled "Doug Gottlieb douche" and had to laugh when I saw this.
He made some stupid comments about MSU as well. Izzo joins the list of many other coaches ripping into the guy. The best quote in response to Gottlieb was by Draymond Greene, though.
"That guy's funny. He's hilarious. But I've played in more Final Four's than him, so that doesn't bother me."
