I simply cannot believe Warren would go before Graham. I love Warren, but technique wise, he is not a 1st round pick at this time. If Graham slips to the 2nd round, please God let one of my NFL teams pick him up...he will be the steal of the draft.

Its actually fairly common for teams to find good to great Offensive Lineman in the later rounds of the NFL draft. Jackie Slater a Hall of Famer was a 3rd round pick, Mike Webster 5th round, Jim Langer Undrafted. Defensive Lineman Deacon Jones was a 14th round pick. So while the hall of fame is not filled with late round defensive lineman, it is quite common for an Offensive lineman to be found in the late rounds.

I would take Graham before Warren. I hope that Graham's stock rises to the 1st reound. Would be nice having two selected that high. Great selling feature for Rich Rod going forward. Go Blue! Still would have loved Warren to have stayed for his senior year.

Agreed. it seems like the author picked Warren b/c of the Woodson comparison. He used the "Warren would make sense, as would a number of other CB's here." to cover his bases. But I wouldn't put too much stock in this evaluation, he has the Lions taking Dwyer the RB from GT in the 2nd rd. If the Lions take a RB with the 2nd rd pick I really will eat my jock....on second thought strike that, it's the Lions were talking about, anything is possible.

I hope both go early, make lots of loot and have amazing pro careers. I'm glad to see Donovan getting some love as I got mocked (on this esteemed board) for suggesting he would be a 1st - 2nd round pick. I don't know if he'd go that high every year, but I think the secondary pickings are a bit slimmer than normal in this draft.

I just do not see Warren going to the first round, and I think he is a heck of a player. I could be very wrong, but I just do not think it will happen. And I pray Graham does not have to play for the Raiders.

As a Packers fan I am always glad when we add some Michigan players to the roster. I hope that if Warren does end up a Packer that he can do the kind of things that Woodson did this year.

Actually a few mock draft sites have Warren going in mid-late first round. Also I've read that BG's stock stock is on the rise with his performances at the Senior Bowl practices. I would love if BG could fall to the Lions in the 2nd round (Jim Schwartz has an up close view as he's one of the coaches) but its looking more and more like people are starting to recognize BG. However this is all pure speculation and outside of the top 5-10 picks, most mock drafts are nuthin but hype to get people excited and talking. All I can say is congrats to BG and best of luck to wherever he goes.

I swear to effin god. If the BG gets past the Lions at 34 I will instantly pick a new team and never watch a Lions game ever again. I was so close when the Lions passed on Woodley and Harris in the early 2nd round to pick Drew FUCKING Stanton!!!. I was close then, but this would put me over the edge.

Lets not forget that Warren isn't even 21 yet. I wish he stayed another year, but he does have tremendous upside for a team drafting late in the first round/ early second round.

Graham won't go to the Raiders, he had excellent production, not an excellent combine. Al Davis doesn't like your "great players" sir, just great 40 times.

Would anyone else rather have the Lions take a couple other guys over McCoy? like obviously Suh if he is there, but then Okung or Berry as well. I would much rather have any of those 3, also a guy that i wouldnt mind getting in the second round, and yes I'm aware what school he went to and yes i hate that school but the guy can play is Golden Tate. I know the history of all the first round WR's but lets be real, we need one, and a good one. Theres starting to be more and more talk about Calvin wanting out and a nice WR would take a lot of pressure off him along with a healthy Pettigrew. What do you guys think?

yeah thats what i'm saying, thats one of the best safety combinations in the league, if not the best if they develop how there supposed to. When was the last time the Lions had the best position group at any position? Not recently

I like the idea of BG to Pitt. The Putt fans are unhappy with a number of their LBs, but love Woodley. The locals out there have been claiming Graham is the second coming of Woodley and Pitt should grab BG. That would be an amazing combo in the pros right there.

I a convinced that D.Warren's draft status will be determined by his showing at the combine. IMHO the biggest knock on him right now is recovery speed and I think the teams will be watching closely to see what he runs in the 40. If it is 4.55 or lower he goes in the first round, anything higher and it is the 3rd or 4th round for him.
