No way he stays at Stanford.  Stanford!  If he chooses to stay in college, it's Michigan or bust.  Who wouldn't want to be paid $5 million to coach at your alma-mater where you not only lived, but played!

I just don't get it.  I understand the NFL, but staying at Stanford.  <shakes head>

Harbaugh Please Come !!!!!!!! We need you !!!!!!!!!!!

I personally volunter $100 to getting him, imagine if every Michigan fan donated $10 ! The school wouldn't even have to pay him !

You ,know, it occurs to me that JH and DB are very similar guys.  Unilateralists, micromanagers, very intense, and Type A personalities.  RR let DB have WAY too much access to the program; you never see ADs on the sidelines, in the film room.  Maybe this was an issue for JH and this whole "search" is JH's way of letting DB he can't be f***ed with.  (Of course, there are other, less convoluted ways of doing this.)

This just could be a public negotiation where the NFL and it's teams are just being led on. But every day this drags on, Harbaugh looks more and more like a diva. He needs a snickers. In a way, I know most Michigan fans, no matter how much they want the guy, are kind of like, c'mon Jim, are you really going to drag your alma-mater through this? I want him right now, but if he keeps dragging this out, maybe the next guy who comes in and is not Harbaugh will actually have the full support of everything University of Michigan.

At this point, he looks best if he returns to Stanford, proclaiming that nothing he's seen can even come close, and that no matter how much money San Fran throws his way there is just nothing to compare to working with the Cardinal.

And then he needs to coach there for the rest of his career, or at least until he bags a couple of championships.

This is Michigan

"So, you're telling me there's a chance."

or am I missing something because UM has no chance.

Normally this would be the first reply.

EDIT: Damn you post limit only set at 300 for making me look like a fool.

Ohh well. Could be worse. My pants could be on the floor.

Why not John? He's a very successful NFL HC. He's got ties to Ann Arbor (if not UM, directly). And he only makes $2mm/year.

That's your Harbaugh.

He has been rumored for the job and "supposedly" has expressed interest in Michigan in the past.  I just don't see why he would want to leave a 12-4 Baltimore team that could potentially get to the Super Bowl.  Unless they lose to KC this weekend............... Go Chiefs????  ;)   Not familiar with the Ravens situation, is John happy with the management and owners there?  From what I have seen it seems like he is happy there.

John would be a great hire, but I cannot see it happening.   I seriously do not think our next coaches last name is going to be Harbaugh.   Either way I would be extremely happy if it were though.

or was he making a disguised plea for him to come to U of M?  Grasping for straws here, but it just seems weird that the Dolphins would do this with a coach still on staff.  Totally dissed Sporano if they were really going after JH for head coach at Miami.  Hopefully, JH told them to take a hike for putting their current coach through this.

I just smell something funny about it.

RT @ Tony Dungy on the Michigan coaching gig. "I'm glad they didn't call," Dungy said. He added that they would be tough to say no to

Meyer or Harbaugh?

Why does the Temptations "Ball Of Confusion" keep playing in my head.  "Round and round and round we go...."

My work productivity is out the window this week.
