per dohrmann's twitter:
"I'm told it is likely my SI mag story will be posted at SI.com later today/tonight. Timing of Tress dec. will make sense after you read it"

Yeah, EDSBS retweeted that. Looking forward to it. Perhaps some very enlightning information inside.
I cant stop smiling.
Wow, I can't wait to read that story. There has got to be some very dirty shit being revealed in that story so Tressel had no choice. I'll be anxiously awaiting!
I hope not, but I'm sure the important parts will leak out to here if you need a subscription to access the story.
Colin Cowherd just said this too.
Damn dude, you BILG'd it and it came true! You are like an oracle around here now! haha
Kudos to you my friend.
Can we just call you the Notorious BILG now?
See ESPN.com... wow...
WOW THIS IS HUGE
MAYBE YOU SHOULD START A THREAD!!!!!!!11!!1!!!!1
A HUGE THREAD!
on ESPN says tOSU asked for his resignation. Can't wait to read the article.
he also said "I'm told it is likely my SI mag story will be posted at SI.com later today/tonight. Timing of Tress dec. will make sense after you read it"
Very telling.
On this site the points dont matter. yep thats right, just like many of JT's wins over the last 10 years they are completely useless.
but good call haha
To Drew Carey's point system on "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" doesn't it? More deliciously ironic, because Carey is from Cleveland, Ohio.
Posting about it twice in the same thread makes you look like an ass.
on props.
I say give them to him!
Three posts patting yourself on the back is enough, though. You must like the smell of your own farts.
tried to embed...can't embed...thought i'd post anyway:
KNOWLEDGE junior
*insert comment about blind squirrel*
Right is right - BILG deserves some love....Of course it would be nice if we knew what the acronym BILG stands for but maybe we don't want to know?
I remember your prediction. It was bold. Now, IF the SI article bears you out, I will do my part to make sure you receive your due.
In the meantime, (a) we can't give you points because of the new system, (b) we don't talk about points, and (c) you haven't been proven right yet.
Everybody here "called it." Did you "call" the sun coming up today, too?
In fairness to him, he did "call his shot" as to what the allegations would be. I, for one, vote that the Mods bestow 100,000 points to him IF it turns out that the following are in the SI article:
1. Pay for play under Tressel's knowledge
2. Coeds paid to sleep with recruits
3. Ted Ginn Sr on the payroll
4. Drug ring operating inside football team with Tressel's knowledge
If that is true they are SO dead. I for one am doubtful (but hopeful) he is accurate. And if he is then the Mods should give him the 100k points they have taken away from others.
If we can punished when we're bad there should be some sort of reward system for when we are very good.
I bet the first three are true. The fourth I doubt he knew for a fact but had suspicions
Before we even have the SI details, you were right!
You can have all my points and the black amex you get with having over 100 points! Wait, what? There is no black amex or ANYTHING that comes from having more mgopoints? Well shit....
You sure did and i put it on my Blog Thank nVery Much for the info http://everythingmichiganandmore.blogspot.com
Memorial Day may officially be my new favorite holiday. It's like Christmas in May.
Lloyd resigned in style. Tressel resigned in flames. Go Blue!
Isn't it ironic that OSU's best two coaches both left the school in disgrace?
Three if you include Cooper. Oh, he just coached against Michigan in disgrace.
I don't think that word means what you think it means.
It's ironic that their two most *revered* coaches left the school in disgrace.
The joke there is that it's OSU, so it's not ironic because you'd never expect their revered coaches to be decent people in the first place.
I agree, it is completely expected that every coach from TSIO would be a creepy lying crook without any real character. No irony here :-D
Woody Hayes was by all accounts a decent man with one serious flaw -- a very hot temper. His fall was both disgraceful and tragic, but it didn't wipe out a long career in which he won mostly on the up-and-up. Later on he was brought back -- they even had him dot the I -- and his achievements are still celebrated. Which was entirely proper.
Tressel is being revealed as a hypocrite of the first order, a serious cheater practically from day one. His downfall is just a piece of his career -- the entire thing was a disgrace.
Bottom line, I don't think its fair to equate the two.
Don't be fooled. Lloyd resigned, but Tressel got fired. Just because OSU gave him the option of giving him the option to resign, doesn't make it any less of a forced termination.
Just went from 6 to midnight
Today could turn out to be Christmas + New Years + St. Patrick's day all in one!
But why, why, why does this all have to come on Memorial Day? There's WAY more important meanings to today than watching Columbus burn down.
But I can't seem to remember where this quote was from. "I'm just hoping the coach doesn't dismiss me." Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
It was Gee at the first presser they had after it came to light that Tressel knew about the ineligible players and lied about it

What a great year, so far...
ESPN keeps trying to link JTs' firing with Ray Small. They're more or less blaming him for it and not even mentioning this article which is the real reason for his forced resignation.
Is this article going to be in print too? When would that mag hit the shelves does anyone know? I'm just sayin, I may want to keep it on my coffee table forever
Sports Illustrated is delivered to subscribers on Thursdays, so I would assume it would be out at news stands by Friday.
could see me smile. My OSU buddy just texted me and said, "Good now he can coach in the NFL where he can excel." WTF?
1) Your buddy is just trying to turn lemons into lemonade
2) He's already accustomed to winning with high priced, expensive athletes.
Spielman is making me gag on ESPN right now. He is using the "great person who made ONE mistake" defense. I hope this article reveals that Tressel was part of a ten-year pattern of abuse at TSIO.
Every former OSU player and now commentator is saying the same thing, even Herbstreit and Robert Smith. St. Tressel made one mistake, while being loyal and trying to protect his players, just like they were sons. I also hope the depth of his cheating is exposed.
This is from his CNNSI bio when talking about his receiving a Pulitzer Prize
The Pulitzer cited his "determined reporting, despite negative reader reaction, that revealed academic fraud in the men's basketball program at the University of Minnesota."
A lot of his other investigative work lends me to think OSU should be very, very nervous. This is what Rosendouche would aspire to be when he grows a pair as an adult.
The OSU house of cards is crumbling as we speak.
It'll be interesting to see how their recruiting goes for the rest of the year.
Who else is refreshing CNNSI's homepage very 30 seconds? We're going to end up bringing that server down....
Who else is spamming refresh on CNNSI's homepage? We're going to end up bringing their server down....
SNAP
I wish he had just said it was coming out tomorrow.
This is ruining my Memorial Day, I keep running inside to check SI.com
F5 F5 F5 F5 F5......
So looking at the front page of all the sports news websites, I can't help but think that this resignation is a fantastic PR stunt. It's going to play over and over in the national media with boilerplate articles about Tatgate. In the meantime, the SI article and new allegations will be drowned in all that benign euphoria.
What do you think?
