Dog Groomers in Toledo

Submitted by Blazefire on

Bad news, guys. Just saw a commercial for 3 Doors Down playing at the Huntington Center in Toledo this Saturday. The opening act will in fact be Pop Evil themselves. Their popularity grows. How long can we hold back the tide?

Honestly, I think Pop evil is starting to change the tide against piped in music. Hell, even people in Ohio are starting to listen to them. Never in a million year would I have heard that. Grooming dogs is a good start.

...I would imagine that the backup plan, if we're reaching thisfar already, was to have someone consume an entire pot roast to "Rhapsody In Blue". Actually, that might be more entertaining.

but I really liked The Big House when it was piped UTL.  A lot of us old farts were the rock and roll generation.  We're not that far over the hill.  I like that it is "our" own pump up tune.  It shouldn't be repeated ad nauseam, but  once or twice a game would be fine.

Can probably blame our local GR radio station, WGRD for this mess. Free beer & hotwings show relentlessly promoted their album across their syndicated channels when they first hit the scene. I got sick of them back in '08

3 Doors Down is a terrible band.  Every single one of their songs sounds exactly the same to me.  I couldn't tell you the difference if my life depended on it.  They may as well be Nickelback.

Just heard one of the band memebers interviewed by Frank Beckmann (M's radio PBP guy). He was beside himself praising the dog groomers hoping that they will be invited to the Big House *this* fall!

Let me guess: did Brian once refer to Pop Evil as "dog groomers"?  The way some people here parrot everything he says is a little excessive.
