Does Someone Want To Make A Survey?

Submitted by bklein09 on

With all the craziness going on around here these days, I am having a hard time getting a pulse on what the greater MGoBlog community is feeling at this point.

I was wondering if one of you survey wizards out there would be interested in putting something together.

Some of the questions that are on my mind:

Who is your top coaching candidate right now?

With Harbaugh off the board, do you think Michigan should have fired RR?

When should RR have been fired?

Projected record for 2011?

Etc, etc, etc

I would be very interested to see where the majority of people stand at this point.

Any takers?

Saw that a few days ago from a different source. If I'm not mistaken, he just wants to talk things over with his family. Not sure if it means he'll seriously look elsewhere, but us not having a coach won't help our cause in any way.

Countess wants to know who his coach is going to be.  DB better pull a rabbit out of his hat or this class is up a creek without a paddle.  Lost a 99.9% in Frost, Dallas is probably gone, Fisher looking to take visits, Posada questionable, talk of moving Jack Miller to D,  Bryant may not come here now.  Can you Imagine if our Oline recruits walk?  That would leave us with Pace as the only recruit for two years and depending on the  new coach he may not get big enough to play.  Will I wake from this nightmare?

Don't worry DB said recruiting was a year round thing and we would not be affected by his timeline.  No coach, no recruits, sounds like we're plummeting toward irrelevance in the world of college football.  Martin was a business man and got the athletic department's financial situation right.  Why in the hell did we bring in another business man who clearly doesn't understand the game.

My buddy just texted me and said Blake's twitter background is Michigan and it says Go Blue on it. Not sure if thats old or not but just fyi. Also read that he loves Michigan for Michigan and wants a good education. I really dont see him leaving.

Damn, I sober up for 5 minutes and what do I come back to? When will it end?

While many of us have thought it, do you have objective evidence the team is damned?

If Frost is any indication, our recruits discussing things with their families appears to be anithetical to our needs. We need someone speaking for us. The silence here is deafening.

This whole situation is a joke and a total embarrassment. We are the laughing stock of college football right now, having gone through this ugly situation 3 years ago and now being in the same boat. The truly funny thing is, this was all brought on by these moronic alums and administrators who never gave RR a fair shot. Now, nobody in their right mind wants to coach here; Putting themselves through that type of abuse, scrutiny, and downright sabatoge.

I'm not saying that RR shouldn't have been fired, because that D was atrocious, but maybe if he had full support, he could have recruited better and assembled a real defense.

With all that said, I'd like Gruden even though that's a pipe dream. A more realistic candidate imo is Bud Foster.
