Does this prompt other schools to self-report? (Clemson)

EDSBS had a link to an article about Clemson self-reporting NCAA violations, including excessive practice time violations. (http://www.postandcourier.com/news/2010/feb/20/school-self-reports-17-v…) They reported the violations as "secondary."

My assumption is that unless UofM responds that the NCAA's alleged violations are secondary, that they are "major."

1. It would seem odd to allow Clemson to report them as secondary, but consider them major in other circumstances.

2. Does the NCAA investigation mean that many more school's will be self-reporting similar issues (since they seemed to be based on confusion)?
