Given the NCAA's history of looking the other way when it comes to Buckeye indiscretions, I think it would be naive of us to expect any additional sanctions. On the paranoid conspiracy front, having Gene Smith being chummy w/ the Infractions Committee and Gee likewise with Emmert there is no way the NCAA comes down hard on them. Since the first day OSU shenanigans became public my stance has been "I'll believe it when I see it" regarding harsh sanctions. Another fine example of the NCAA regarding OSU: "So you had to fire (although Gee said it was Tressel's decision alone, originally) your lying- and cheating-ass coach? Well, let your new coach concentrate on a critical recruiting period while the interim staff coaches bowl preparation."
a terrible blight on our fine country
