I think Bama and LSU are probably the best 2 teams, but it'd be ridiculous to have 2 teams in the NC game that didn't win their conference.

If I could pick any player to play for UM, thats not playing at UM, I'd pick Honey Badger, he is the most exciting player since Reggie Bush......

P.S. minus all of his off the field issues.

it could be the best of all scenarios becuase we still probably get a BCS bid and either:

1) Okie St jumps Bama to avoid the SEC rematch, or

2) the SEC gets 3  teams in the BCS, with neither team in the Championship game winning their confernce resulting in a major uproar and the demise of the BCS.

we just need to pass Houston and the Big 10 loser to put us at 14 with 1 of those teams staying ahead of TCU.  So if Houston or MSU/Wiscy falls only 16 then they could keep TCU at 17.

Example:

14- Um

15- Baylor

16- Houston or MSU/Wiscy loser

17- TCU

I think we actually might match up better with LSU than a lot of teams.  If you try to run up the gut or air it out on them they'll eat you alive, but I think our misdirection offense could fool them a few times, and their offense has never impressed me.  We would still lose probably 10 times out of 10 but I think we'd make it interesting.

I was just wondering, if Ok St passes Alabama, would Alabama still get the auto bid because they are top 4? Or can you only have 3 teams from the same conference when 2 our in the MNC and neither won the conference?

Also, is it possible for Va Tech to pass Stanford? That would get rid of the problem of Stanford getting an auto bid. Or is Stanford so far ahead of Va Tech that it wouldn't be realistic?

If LSU wins and voters put Okie State at #2, Bama would be in the sugar bowl as the #3. If Georgia wins and then voters put Okie State at two, Bama would NOT get a BCS bowl. Stanford is significantly ahead of Va Tech, so Va Tech collecting another win over a team who won't finish in the top 25 will almost certainly not jump Stanford.

if they fall to 3 becuase the normal 2 team from 1 conf rule would trump the top 4 auto qualifier.  The only way to get 3 teams from 1 conf is if the top 2 are not the conf champ winners.

Good question about VTU passing Stanford.  I had not thought about that.  Of course we would still have to get picked ahead of Standford which is likely but not a guarantee.

Jesus christ people its simple if georgia wins there are two scenarios which can occur.

1) LSU/Bama stay top 2 and play for natty, georgia gets sugar, tcu and stanford take auto spots and no bcs for michigan.

2) one of lsu/bama drops out of top 2, okie state plays the other for natty, michigan gets bcs because sec only gets 2 teams in bcs opening a spot up for michigan

Thats it, thats the list if georgia wins, its really not worth a three page discussion
