Do you see Peppers in wildcat formation this year?

Does anyone think we will see this formation this year? Did he ever run the wildcat in high school? When you have such high praise for a kid like this and he is a real play maker like denard with the ball in his hands don't you have to have this in the play book?

I don't think Peppers will be doing that this year. We all think he's superman but I think they will limiit his offensive touches, this year at least. He hasn't really even played any defense yet. Even Charles wasn't a do all, everything his freshman year.

I do think we will see some wildcat, read/option this year but from Gentry, not Peppers. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Even if Shane doesn't pan out, there will be one or more QB's besides Rudock getting some meaningful snaps this year in special packages. Whether it be Shane, Gentry or Malzone.

No way we go into next year with only 1 QB with any significant playing time (O'Korn), and that guy hasn't played in over a year. Raback it!

Agree. Gentry doesnt strike me as the kind of guy you redshirt. He's physically mature enough to play and he gives the offense an extra dimension it lacks with his size and running ability. They'll have to get him competent in 3 or 4 passing plays to make the run threat credible, but once they do he's the type of guy that can get you some high percentage short/medium yardage on the ground like a Daunte Culpepper.
