Do you live in Indiana and have Directv? Check to make sure you still have NBC
PSA: If you have Directv and live in Indiana, check to make sure you still have NBC. Due to a dispute between the NBC provider and Directv, NBC is not available for viewing to some of us lucky fans who want to see the game on Saturday or watch shows on a network that hasn't been relevant since Friends.
Maybe I've been living with my head up my ass, but I had no idea about this until the TV ratings thread earlier today and I figured that it deserved its own thread.
The easiest way to get around this is to buy a cheap HD antenna and use it for Saturday. I found one pretty cheap on Amazon for only $10.
Good luck and may the corn be with you.

There's more than corn in Indiana.

Indiana does have more than corn. They have terribly maintained highways, overly ambitious highway patrolmen, and a road system around Indy that gets me lost nearly every time I navigate it.

Good excuse to go to a bar showing the game on the big screen.

and the CBS affiliate in Columbus. It's no accident that DirecTV is having issues with both of them at the same time.

and yes the SEC has overflow channels just like B1G.
I still get my local NBC station through DISH, but I could also get it over the air if necessary.

DISH customers aren't affected.

That's why I have always stuck with xfinity, no such issues and no need to pray for good weather.
Anyway, you can consider going to the alumni bar in Indianapolis if all else fails:

See ya there. I'll be the drunk one.

Sadly I will be involved in an all day activity in Columbus (NTC) and be confined to the comforts of my small apartment for the game. On the upside, my girlfriend who graduated from Chicago and who used to despise all things football have finally been converted to a Michigan fan and has agreed to watch the game with me on Saturday.

I might just be there, unless one of you wants to splurge and just head up to scalp at the game? None of my friends are crazy enough to just show up with money and hope we get a ticket. I sure am... if you want to try to get in the game, email me with my user name at yahoo dot com.

In regards to NBC not being relevant, I actually like some of their shows the most. The Office, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, and (despite what some think) Saturday Night Live are all really funny. Granted, I only started watching the first three once I got my Netflix account...

It's Dispatch Video that owns our NBC affiliate. They tried to raise their rate for DirecTV to carry them by 400%. Real mature.
