Do we need a separate Safety and CB coach?
OSU has a coach for safeties and CBs, however they do run a different defense. USC has the DC as the secondary coach plus a grad assistant for the secondary (similar to the role Addae plays on our staff). Considering the amount of movement we have our safeties doing for the different packages, I wonder if they make that change next year.

I think there is a limit to how many coaches you can have on your staff. So if we add another, we would have to take from one. I might be wrong on that though.

You can have all the coaches you want, but if you don't have both talent and depth, all the coaching in the world won't do any good against teams like PSU.
I think GERG has done a wonderful job of hiding and playing around the team's limitations. I know PSU handed them their hat, but that happens sometimes. A few more wins and nobody will care about how many coaches there are on defense.

No, actually you can't have as many coaches as you want, there is a limit.

i think they just need to move gibby to recruiting coordinator, move hopson to DBs, tall to LBs, and hire another DL coach. that's what i, the ignorant fan, would do.
