Peppers at 10, which seems low.
Do we have any chance with Watkins?
We need to make sure Dallas is secure before we rely on him to bring others here
Probably not since Dallas seems to be oppening his commitment up again
As long as RR stays, Crawford will stay firm, and can get back in Sammy's ear. Until that, however, we're pretty short on luck.
Dang we need Watkins. Not often a top 3 WR is the teammate of one of your commits....snake oil would be very useful here
I think he'd be great, but I don't think he'd be as big of a 'need' as a top 3 S, top 3 LB, top 3 NT, etc. I'd love to get him, but there's no shortage of playmakers at WR.
My thoughts exactly. I'd rather have a Tim Jernigan type than a Sammy Watkins type. At least at this stage of the game.
I agree re: relative need of WR to S/LB/NT, but to say there's no shortage of playmakers at WR is shortsighted. Beyond 2011, there very well may be a shortage (I'm talking WR, not slot). There is Stokes, and all the 2010 freshman, but none of them are proven.
I believe Crawford's coach said that all Dallas is doing is creating back up plans in case the new coach doesn't honor his scholarship. As long as he has a scholarship to Michigan, he will come to Michigan
^ if that is true then that is very smart and responsible on his part, the only hope is that he doesn't get swayed by a back up plan and makes it his primary option!
Sammy would be an excellent addition. We need him. Receivers get banged up in our offense. Quick passes create further distance to run, which increases the physicality of the game.
Hmmmm....could be interesting if Crawford has thta kind of influence....but that could be a double edge sword since Ha Ha is all iln Dee's ear bout Bama.....
