Yes.  He had a few bodies ahead of him on the slot WR depth chart.  And since our new offense won't utilize the slot ninja like RR's offense, his likelihood of playing time was very minimal.  Unfortunately, this is probably a good move for him to put himself in a better position to showcase his skills elsewhere.  Good luck to him in his endeavours.

Mr. Williamson. Still well stocked at receiver though. Wonder why he is moving on? Lack of playing time? Personal reasons? School too hard?

I wonder what took so long between when the rumors began, and this official request.  Any ideas as to where he's going?  Pitt seems to be snapping up transfers left and right lately.

So does he get added to the Hoke'ed list that I am sure they're tracking at RCMB?

Good luck wherever you land DJ. Use that speed when you get there

such a hard decision for these young men on a college choice. Think of the tOSU recruits who thought they had a stable program and MSU recruits who thought MD owned the Midwest for years to come and then there's ND ...

thoughts were will we see him on a Pitt roster next fall.  Well at any rate I wish young Mr. Williamson the best as he transistions to another college.  good luck

Williamson's transfer means 8 members of the 2010 class (last year's freshman) is already gone. (Demar Dorsey, Davion Rogers, Ray Vinopol, Cullen Christian, Austin White, Conelius Jones, and now Williamson)

Ugh, what a shame. Retention has to be one of Hoke's major goals from here on out. No team is going to succeed if they have such a signficant number of players leave town before they even have a chance to start contributing (or even finish Fall practice in a couple of cases).
