no doubt.   and he should.  but its the manner in which he does, the same manner in which he operates daily and responds to virtually everything.  facial expressions, terse jerkoff responses, hes a very good coach but not many outside east lansing would or could tolerate that dude.

even money he mean mugs his wife with that half pissed off half strained shitting look during intercourse

I mean, that's a really stupid question by the reporter. Not even a question really, just something he's saying to see what Dantonio will do. He's just fishing for a reaction and you can tell by his ridiculously out of place laugh after he asks it.

without bringing up The Game rivalry even though he would have assumed that to some degree Dantonio gets it having been a part of it while on staff at OSU with Tressel. But, of course, he's only playing the card that has been his legacy statement for motivation at MSU, lack of respect.

Funny, though, had I known the questioner wasn't a Detroit News reporter-columnist, I would have thought the question had come from a Columbus journalist. Either way, Dantonio is being Dantonio.

I have been thinking about this ever since the MSU game, but that whether MSU advances or not, Dantonio knows his team got beat in Ann Arbor. I give him credit for keeping his defense together with bailing wire. And I expect his team to put forth a great effort Saturday, but now he knows what it's like to go down there with your season on the line and only taking down the devil keeps you in the tournament.

Meanwhile, TheOzone is doing storylines that combine Michigan State and Michigan as the Buckeyes long-awaited biggest games of the season, and how Saturday is Joey Bosa and few other Buckeye juniors final home game with guys saying they can't look past MSU for Michigan even though that rivalry is why they came to play at Ohio State.

The MSU-OSU game has been a big game for two years.

If you want to talk about a game that replaced UM-OSU's importance over the past decade, it would be Wisconsin-Ohio State, not Michigan State.

I used to work with a guy many years ago who was a liitle odd.  He was in line to check in at an airport and picked up a comb on the floor.  George Carlin was next to him in line and he told George, "I collect combs" to which George responded:  "And I collect gum from under table tops."  Believe it or not, my friend did not know who George Carlin was and was a little put off by his remark.  He was surprised that the flight attendants were making a fuss over him and a couple months later he saw Carlin on a talk show and said to his wife:  "Hey, that's that guy from the airport."

basically asks a non-question involving the Michigan v. Ohio State rivalry vs. the Michigan State v. Ohio State game.  Dantonio gives him a sound bite along with a look that says "dude your an ass" and that is about it.  Really nothing to see.

A reporter said to Coach Dantanio something like, we are conditioned in this region to think Michiganv Ohio State, Michigan v Ohio State, and for good reason. Coach Dantonio interjected, not really. There were some laughs, and the reporter continued.

If Dantonio loses it puts full spotlight on UM OSU in year one. That would hurt. He's gotta win this game.

Go over to 11Warriors and you'll see that they talk about Michigan all the time and barely anything negative about MSU.  In fact they like Dantonio because of what he's done to Michigan lately.  We are winning the series so they consantly come up with arbitrary dates to start counting to make themselves feel better.

“This is why we come to Ohio State,” running back Ezekiel Elliott said. “This is why you come to places like Ohio State, to come out here and play in big games. It’s just crazy we’ve got these two back-to-back. The first one is kind of a rivalry and the second one is definitely a rivalry.”

“We know there’s going to be a lot of respect for that game, but also a lot build up about,” Perry said. “The thing we’ve got to do is just focus in. We’ve got to take it one week at a time. We can’t be looking ahead to our rivalry game either knowing that one’s a big one. We’ve just got to handle business now.”

It's not even an "in this region" thing. That's a national thing. No one cares about Michigan State. I live in Nashville and have heard multiple people talk about "The Michigan / Ohio State game in a couple of weeks." I've yet to hear any conversation about "The Michigan State / Ohio State game this week."
