The Disappearing of Mark Dantonio

Submitted by Rug Dog on

Buddy of mine showed this to me last, laughed my ass off.  Dantonio disappears when being throttled by Wisconsin.

Edit: Well the link worked in the preview when I embedded.  Apparently it doesn't now that I posted, here's the link though if one of you kind gentlemen would like to embed properly:

Apparently, you cannot embed in the OP.  Try it again, it'll probably work...

Edit:  Then again, don't bother.  It wasn't that good.  I mean, nice edit job, but jeez...

This is slightly changing the subject - but I've noted that his demeanor seems to be much different this season than last; and different than at any time since he went to MSU. He seems to be taking in every moment and not getting worked up by much.

I get the feeling that he is planning to retire at the end of the season. No direct evidence, just a suspicion.

Maybe.

I think the other thing people don't think about is that these coaches are real people who have become very successful financially.

They obviously have the money to retire and there is probably a valid desire on a lot of coaches parts to use that money in their 60s to travel/generally live it up before they start to get too old into their 70s and things like that become gradually harder.

Hard to get upset when you're beating a rival as a road underdog...or when you're getting your shit kicked in at home in the conference opener. Or when you're playing Furman.

I'll reserve judgement for when he's in a B1G dog fight.

He slips to 3rd or 4th in the division consistently and his disappearing act will become permanent soon. No way he lets his record against Michigan get close to .500.
