Did anyone else catch Sam Webb saying he had a gut feeling on a def player today? Any guess of who it may be?
Niko Porikos grew up in an NTDP billet home. Cool story.
Enchilada from T Bell.
So is the XXL chalupa, smashed those for 4th meal at 3 am last weekend.
I miss Denise. They should have made a whole series of Taco Bell commercials based around her.
Did you need utensils for the XXL chalupa?
It's good to go
Alan Trieu, Midwest recruiting director for Scout, says that it's Countess. FWIW.
Countess would be a great get.
He's a soft verbal. That entire poster's argument was based on the fact that he's not committed to Bama now because he wants to enroll early, and Bama doesn't have an EE spot for him. He's said, however, he's not going to enroll early. I don't really understand what that guy was going at, but stop freaking out. As of now, he's a commitment who's keeping his options open.
Yeh I don't really believe that. Unless Dee has been lying to Michigan insiders this whole year there is no chance. And Dee seems like a standup guy, I doubt he is fucking with us that hard.
You don't believe that Dee is a soft commit? He basically said if RR stays he will be at Michigan. I think that is a true soft commit in my book.
Not Countess. Sam said someone from the south that he was not expecting to come north. The name that comes to mind is Jernigan. Could be Mickey Johnson as well but not much talk of him in recent months.
Either way, I can almost guarantee it's not Mickey Johnson. Sam wasn't sold that Jernigan's recruitment was up, but I'd be very surprised if a week after supposedly eliminating M from his list he changes his mind and commits, especially before the coach is decided
If we got Mickey Johnson then Fred Jackson is a damn good recruiter. I wonder what he would say about his own recruiting ability.
It's Countess or Frost.
Countess AND Frost.
Judging from other scuttlebutt, it could be valdez showers. We could use a big CB to go with Crawford.
unless you're standing in Alpena
A friend of mine coaches at MHM and told me a few fans are really pushing the nickname Valdez "Golden" Showers.
From where I sit it, could be the worst or best nickname ever.
I'll only call him that if he ends up at State
My guess is Countess.
Countess or Bryant, that's my call
My guess is Coutness, but I wonder why he would wait and do it at the AA game?, but I will take any good news we can get. With the loss of Walls we need him!
What I got from the podcast was that he might have been expecting "good news" from the prospect, but it came much sooner than he had anticipated..moving up his timeline from the AA game makes sense.
Sam more-or-less said the other day that Bryant will commit to Michigan if RR is retained.
I didn't really think when I typed him in. Anywho, money's on Countess.
Anthony Goombarelli, 2* DT from Paterson, NJ.
.... if I heard correctly, it was about a defensive player from the South, and that despite all the coaching scuttlebutt, we could hear some good news before the New Year from this player.
IT SEEMS SO RIGHT
He's just been playing hard to get this whole time
sarcasm, yes? That would be beyond awesome, but Clowney is almost certainly a lock for USC (not that USC) or 'Bama.
but i cant make out who it is
he is execpted to be at practice on Saturday with Raymon Taylor. That would be a nice instate combo package!
I think Valdez might be the more valuable one here though..he has the ability to play FS with his size/speed combo, and I believe he's seen time at FS with Madison.
I want to be daring and Raback it... But, I dont thave those cahones...
People overuse "Rabacking it". He called it because he had inside information, it wasn't just a good guess.
Should I call it a "Guaranbrew"?
It's a Billy Guerin-tee.
Where has he been? I haven't seen him posting anything in months, but I could have just missed it.
I personally would take both Valdez and Blake...and Mr. Frost.
He comes in every now and then for the pos-bang.
There is a picture up on Scout of Valdez Showers so that is my guess as well.
Showers and Raymon Taylor are stopping by practice tomorrow.
3 star OLB from austin tx, he has been under the radar
As long as it's a good gut feeling and not a bad one.
Sam Webb's gut feelings are generally about upcoming commitments, not negative news.
Yeah that's true, just a little on edge about any news since lately it seems like we have more bad news than good.
