2010 Recruiting Board has DG as an early enroll still, but I had heard now that he won't be. Anyone know anything official/semiofficial?
further adventures in Jed York being unsuited for his position
He's not, as of now.
I don't remember which thread it was in, but one of the recaps from their playoff game said that he originally wanted to but is not. Academic reasons if I remember correctly
no-go on early enrolling.
I don't think he ever planned on enrolling early.
He said multiple times that he was planning on it.
No need for rumors
I was always under the impression that he wouldn't have all the necessary graduation requirements met (classes needed to graduate, etc.) to finish in December.
I saw your quote: "KoB is banned...dammit." I've been away from the board for the holidays - what happened to the King?
Nothing, uniqnam just has an unyieldnig hate of KoB.
KoB really got the banhammer? He was easily one of my favorite posters.
Speaking of early enrolees, who all is planning to enroll in January?
I believe that's all of them.
Could any of these early enrollees count towards last year’s recruiting class? If so, would we be able to sign more than the 25 recruits limited by the Big Ten?
Per Sam Webb and the new NCAA rules early enrollees cannot be backdated. It's been heavily discussed on the board many pages back.
unless you want to say he's a late 2009 enrollee.
Even if DG were enrolling early, I think he was set for a RS IMO. I think he'd benefit greatly from a year of learning better technique and devouring the playbook on the sidelines.
As for the other early enrollees, I think MRob has a good chance of contributing right away next year. Safety is wide open and he is a potential instant impact guy.
Are any of the potential commits possible early enrollees? I would assume Grimes and Murphy are not seeing that they are announcing on Signing Day. But what about Jefferson, heard he wants to enroll early no matter where he goes.
He's a really good Quarterback
