Farrell: Georgia just had an offensive coordinator leave for a head coaching job in Mike Bobo, whose been there a long time and done a great job with quarterbacks…how does that effect you? Do you look at this as something that was bound to happen eventually, some coach was going to leave? Eason: Ya know, college football it kind of works like that, coaches are going to leave all the time, but I’m solid with Georgia and I’m sure Richt will get a great guy in there and if it comes down to it I still have a couple of options open, but I doubt that’ll happen and I’m staying with the Dawgs. Farrell: What would those options be? Eason: I’m keeping Florida and Michigan open and, obviously Georgia; those are kind of Top 3 right now. Farrell: What about Harbaugh? I know he’s reaching out to 2015 kids, but being a west coast guy and seeing a hire like that—a guy that works with quarterbacks—does that tempt you at all to take a look? Eason: I mean, that is a crazy opportunity with Harbaugh coming down from there and coaching at Michigan. Um, but you know I gotta good class coming in at Georgia and, ya know, there’s a lot going on with the Bulldogs too.

Very interesting. But, we all knew this sort of stuff would happen. Maybe he isn't ready for the wrath of Harbaugh to rein upon him. Curious as to what Harbaugh said to him.

Was bound to happen. Harbaugh was obviously going to recruit his own QB for the 2016 class, especially after seeing the shambles of what the previous regime did at the QB position.

DeWeaver was wavering on the commitment (considering he was visiting MSU, etc.)... At the end, he was not really solid (went quiet more or less) and JH believe he will get better QB (and those who would be even more committed)... I believe he visited him as most has posted, it was probably mutual..

I thought the same thing when I saw it earlier.  Didn't seem positive at all.

I figured the writing was on the wall.  He went from coming in with 3 QB's ahead of him & all alone in his class to 4 ahead of him & probably another in his class, possibly one of the top QB's in the class.

We can't be in the room, but if you want a coach to guarantee you will get the chance to play & the coach can only guarantee that if you show him you deserve to play over all the rest that you will get that shot...

NEXT!

Good luck to deWeaver.  Hope he stays away from schools that end in "State."

As I posted earlier, some recruits are not going to like Harbaugh taking two QB every year. However, those who are scared of a little competition are not Harbaugh guys anyway. I'm not worried in the least.

You have a personal relationship with DeWeaver, and he told you, "Hello my good buddy BAMF623.  I'm just calling you to tell you that Harbaugh is going to take multiple QBs every year.  I personally don't like this approach because I'm scared of a little competition, and for this reason I will be decommitting."

Is that what happened, or are you personally attacking the character of 17 year old kid who you've never met in your life?
