Welcome to the best family in the world!!
GO BLUE!!
I am drunk, or I wouldn't be talking to you.
This picture makes me worry about pad level. How is he supposed to be a blocking TE if he's 4 feet off the ground?
Well, that's before Coach Funk touches him.
Touchdown Michigan!
Was referring specifically to blocking specifically, and that's the first name that came to mind when it came to blocking.
Touchdown Michigan!
It's a TEapalooza!
Two very nice pickups.

6'5", 205 lbs, ESPN150 Watch List, 4* #6 TE to Scout.
Good pickup. Either Thompson or he should be a great receiving option. Also Sparty's gonna be pissed. A lot of them feel as if the FHH trio were all bound for them.
EDIT: and A.J. Williams...

Solid pickups at TE, filling bot the receiving and blocking molds the coaches wanted.
Thanks for the links, love the pickups. Keep em coming Brady.
What a great start to a Friday!

Notable offers for both if no one wants to click links:
Funchess-Cincy, Illinois, Sparty, Mizzou, Nebraska (possible OSU interest)
Williams-Arkansas, Illinois, Sparty, WV
You think Sparty fans are starting to realize/worry, with Brady here we are going to own Michigan recruiting again? Or do they still have a solid choke hold?
Go Blue!
They only ever had a chokehold on in-state recruiting in their warped and twisted minds.
I've seen them try and rationalize Braden and RJS coming here. But I'm personally looking forward to seeing how they spin this one. What with FHH being an "MSU feeder school" and all three of them being Lansing-bound...
They never had a solid choke hold..but I bet losing a FHH recruit is making them nerveous.

but sounds like they weren't surprised by this, and they now think Ojemudia is a Mich lean as well. They are realllllllllly hoping they get Burbridge, if we get him that one will sting for sure.
How 'bout I punchisize your face, for free.
Great stuff, thanks for the links. What do you think our chances are with Burbridge?
Go Blue!
We aren't his leader most likely, but there's also grade concerns with Burbridge.
Welcome to the team! Glad to have you part of the Michigan family.

Our commits really do come in pairs this year. Two O-Linemen within a day of each other, then two linebackers within a day of each other. Now two tight ends on the same day.
Great news. Welcome to both.
I'll take these in pairs...
DE - Chris Wormley, and Matt Godin
DT - Sheldon Day, and Mario Ojemudia
OL 2 - Jordan Diamond, and J.J. Denman
LB 2 - James Ross, and Joe Bolden
FYI Mario Ojemudia is not a DT. If anything he is more OLB/DE type of guy.

Are we not getting Ron Thompson anymore then? I'm glad we got one of the Farmington Hills guys so far though, hopefully he can bring in Mario O and Aaron Burbridge. Both look like good tight ends, AJ is 6'6" I wonder if he runs well.
"And they'll never catch him..."
I really couldn't find any video on AJ, but from what I found he appears to be more of a blocking TE which is possibly why he doesn't have more offers/ranked higher.
How 'bout I punchisize your face, for free.
This is correct. The staff have told him he'll be a TE but he could end up on the OL. No matter where he ends, he's being brought in as a blocking TE.
Funchess on the other hand could be a big WR if the staff wanted.
Great news! Funchess is a great prospect and has some good looking teammates.
Where does this leave Ron Thompso? Are we looking to take three TE in this class?
With the relative lack of Tight Ends on the roster and the recent opening of a scholarship with the departure of Cullen Christian, I would not be surprised to see 3 TEs taken in this class, especially given the caliber of all three of them.
"Son tell me if I'm right, but its probably better without a big ugly rectum in front of you, and there are some big ugly rectums here. Am I right?"
-Mike Barwis
So...wrap up Ron Thompson, and then we're done at TE, right?
I don't think it's crazy to think that one of these tight ends could end up as a wide receiver. I miss seeing the bigger and taller wide receivers we've seen in the past. However, AJ Williams is as big as a house. I'd leave him at TE.
Funchess is already 6'5" 200+lbs. as a junior. Put him in an S&C program and he could probably get up to 240-250 without trouble.
It would take quite a bit of beefing up to add 40-50 lbs. to a frame. It's possible on a 6'5" frame but Junior Hemingway is 6'1" 225 lbs. Our S & C program could mold Funchess anyway they want. I wouldn't hesitate to pluck another TE.
Oh YEAAAAHHHHHHH!
Welcome to Michigan gents!!
As well as AJ Williams apparently (also according to TomVH).
