Scout bio: "As a junior, Devin Fuller completed 95 of 143 passes for 1,886 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also carried the ball 191 times for 2,306 yards and 32 touchdowns, giving him a total of 4,150 yards and 52 scores on the year. On defense, he added 65 tackles and three interceptions. He says he can bench 250-pounds, squat 450 and has a 31-inch vertical jump.

Fuller was the only junior to be named first team All-State, was named the North Jersey Player of the Year and was named the New Jersey Old Spice Player of the Year while leading his team to an 11-1 record.

As a sophomore, Fuller completed 55 of 107 passes for 930 yards and eight touchdowns. He carried the ball 48 times for 489 yards and five touchdowns. He only played in nine games and played two of those games with a broken hand which certainly hurt his performance.

As a freshman, Fuller took over as a starter after the second game of the season and played in eight games. He was 68 of 129 for 1183 yards for 12 touchdowns. He rushed for 448 yards and five touchdowns on 51 carries."

Yes I believe that is a fire truck lol. This has to be the most well put together highlight tape from the intro to the quality, I'm very impressed. Now for the kids skills I believe he resembles mike Vick dramatically, he has a quick cannon release with a tight spiral. Denard is just a freak athlete that would be good at any skill position.

Impressive film. I doubt we see him as a quarterback and I doubt he would come here to play quarterback. There will only be one denard and we have two more years of him, lets enjoy it.

the Geno Smith or Steve Smith mold. Bigger than Shoelace for sure but he's got a lot of speed from what it looks like. The only problem I see with this kid is his long throws off his back shoulder. He had a 40-50 yarder in there but looked inconsistent with some wobbling and underthrowing. But there's nothing that a good QB coach can't fix. Kid is solid gold from the tape. I would recruit him for QB no matter what. Recruiting him at DB or HB would be a waste of talent.

Only time will tell.  It will be more likely when Rich Rod finds a job near the end of this up-coming season, and goes hard after this kid and gives him a chance to play QB when everyone else is wanting him to play DB or slot.  This is a situation I can totally see happening.

Heisman Denard was a product of the offense he chose to play in (RR). What they are saying to this kid is exactly what every other program of note was telling Denard 2 years ago. He was smart enough to know what "if" it doesn't work out really meant. He would have seen through Weird Al and the Fat Man just like this kid will. 2300+1600 Denard is gone. He must be destroyed no matter what because to do otherwise might, in even some small way, reflect well upon the previous regime.

"Weird Al and the Fat Man"? Wow. Why are you posting?

It's true that there will probably be a dip in DRob's numbers, but only because the coaches are making a strategic decision that they think is better for the team overall.

So you're saying that Hoke and Borges will purposefully constrain Denard's productivity because they don't want to make RR look good.

That's a pretty awesome tinfoil hat you're wearing there. I bet you can pick up the brain waves of the reptilians who secretly rule our planet.

We'd have been the favorite for him if RR was still here, and if RR lands a HC job after next season I bet he's going after him hard.

that Hoke is not married to the 6-5 lead-footed pro-style QB the way Lloyd was. I'm sure we'll get some of those guys in the future as well, but I'm really encouraged that the staff seems to be going after the best players period, regardless of their playing style.

Can I ask if he's the only black kid in his prep league?  (c'mon...don't act like you didn't notice when you saw the film, which is amazing)

I'm not sayin' he's not  as beep-beep fast as he appears, or phenomenal, or full of moxie, or we wouldn't love to make him a crown jewel of the recruiting class.... I'm just, you know, kinda sayin'...

The card has been played, sir.  Apologies to all involved.

Im from north jersey and my younger brother actually played against devin this year, the kid is amazing no doubt. I know oregon was looking at him hard last year, he is special for sure but he is smaller than denard and I doubt will be on denards level.
