Pretty fair and reasonable article. He brings up a good point what todays game showed. The defense.... with the B10 season starting next week, I hope GR draws up some good schemes to hold back the opponents offense.

I want to see us shut Indiana out. The Hoosiers are probably only slightly better than Eastern, if we can shut them it tells me we have improved from this week.

Have you not been paying attention at all to the season? Indiana would be a favorite to win the MAC. Eastern is not.
That's miles away from just slightly better.

He doesn't seem to take himself as seriously as most sportswriters in the Michigan market do, nor does he become indignant as often as many of them do. I think he just likes to have fun with sports and leave the carping and whining to the Rosenpukes and Cartys of the world.
He's still refreshing, which is tough to say when someone has been around for twenty years or so.

He seems to make good adjustments at the half. The defense was better in the 2nd both today and in the ND game.

OT. Are talking articles part of the web, they should be, I did not like Wojo as a writer until I heard him on the radio with Stoney. If we could listen to a writer read his/her article, I think it would be an earopener, and we would have less need to interpet intent.
I now know Wojo is pretty light hearted in his jabs and does not take himself seriously, I would not have this perspective, had I not got to know Wojo over the years on The Fan. Terry Foster on the radio had the opposite effect on me, I now like Terry less, having heard him on the radio.
