I agree, calling him a receiver or wide receiver would have been more clear, or even saying split end instead of just end. But it's not that uncommon of nomenclature either.

Back in the old days, that's what they were called.  But regardless, the Detroit News has been calling tight ends and wide receivers "ends" on the Dream Team for as long as I can remember.

I have an idea of what has gone on with Latta, but I'd rather not share it.  However, he didn't go to camps this summer because of injury, and that may have stalled his recruitment.

Latta does have nice size, but his film isn't all that impressive.  I thought the Wisconsin offer was fishy, and it seems like the offer was pulled or never existed in the first place.  He doesn't look like a high FBS prospect to me.  He looks like a MAC kid.

These awards are generally for who had the best season, not who the best player is.  I'm not sure what Burbridge's stats were, but I'm guessing there were other guys in the state who had better stats this year.

Kind of an awkward picture of Cooper Rush, with the piece of grass stuck to the side of his face.  You'd think they would have let him know to brush it off or at least photoshoped it out.

"Mario is the most dominant defensive tackle we've ever had," coach John Herrington said.

FHH is one of the best HSFB programs in Michigan, and has been for a long time.  Herrington is a legend, so that's damn impressive.  This kid is going to be great.
